We met Dr Kannappan way back in 2019. We were married without children for 6 years then. Many doctors told my wife that she had PCOS. However, Dr Kannappan took a very methodical process and cleared us from having any issues at all. He insisted that we try the natural way before IVF or other methods, which was something we appreciated whereby many others may have advised us otherwise. Then fast forward 4 years, we have had 2 baby daughters conceived naturally and then delivered by Dr Kannappan. Both pregnancies and delivery were smooth and stress-free. We appreciated his kind and straight forward advice and approach. All our doubts and fears were put to rest and we were able to embark on our parenthood journey thanks to him. Our regular appointments are also a fun experience for the whole family as setting an appointment is easy, and while waiting, Sunway Hospital has various coffee chains to enjoy. We come from Ampang every time for every visit, and yet it's something we look forward to. Our 2year old toddler loves Dr Kannapan so much that from the womb to now, she has such a positive response when we tell her we are seeing Dr. Kannappan.

The journey of conceiving wasn’t easy for me and my husband, but thanks to Dr Kannappan, we were now blessed with a cute baby girl! We were his patients 2 years back. From polyps removal, miscarriage to fertility treatment, we can rest assured that he is very experienced, calm and professional. Dr Kannappan has been one of the most amazing doctors who I've met, moreover in the Gynaecology field that most women has issue with the level of comfort that they look for. I've other gynae before and since I went to Dr Kannappan, I've never thought of changing; been 4+ years. He's very compassionate and gentle. On pregnancy, he carries a very warm personality that made me feel very comfortable, safe and well taken of during the 9 months - he handled both of my pregnancies. He ensures that we got all the essential tests done and he shares a lot of information with us on KK, too. We have learnt so much from him during my pregnancies. That helped us to plan better what we can get the best out of KK due to the long queue and time consumed. Then, unfortunately along the way, I had an ectopic pregnancy and I was so scared and devastated but as usual, he takes care of us patients so well. Emotionally, he's been very sensitive on my pre and post pregnancy removal. For labour, he always opt for safe practices. Again, I always feel at ease on the operating table and my recovery has always been very good under his care. For the first time, I felt that a doctor can actually behave more than a doctor. I hope with my review, more ladies will be more confident to meet Dr Kannappan. If you're his patient, you can be rest assured that you will be well taken care of. As a PCOS patient with miscarriage experience, I am glad that i found Dr Kannappan for my current natural pregnancy. Dr Kannappan is definitely a god sent doctor to us!
