23/3/2025-27/3/2025 Had a great experience at Aurelius Hospital. The doctors (Dr. Nizar, Dr. Teoh & Dr. Chong) were excellent—professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very caring. The staff (from emergency dept., radiology dept., ward staff) were also very friendly, attentive and they took good care of my mother. Special thanks to one particular staff member, named Jiha who genuinely cared about my mom’s comfort. Your kindness and concern truly made a difference. Overall, the service was top-notch. Highly recommended! ————————— My mother was admitted to Aurelius Hospital from the 8th and is still currently warded here as I’m writing this review. And I must say—it has been one of the best hospital experiences we’ve ever had. This is actually her second time being admitted here, and just like the first time, the care and service we’ve received have been nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, every single staff member we encountered has been kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. From the clinic and blood test teams to the porters who assisted with her wheelchair and belongings, everyone treated my mother with the utmost respect and compassion. The radiology staff, where she underwent two MRI scans, were equally professional and kind. My mother used to be terrified of MRI procedures due to all the scary things she saw online, but after completing them here, she said, “If anyone says MRI is scary, they’re lying!” That alone speaks volumes. The nurses in the ward have been incredibly attentive, gentle, and caring. One person who truly stood out was Hospital Ambassador Mrs. Moi, who has been checking on my mother every day and going above and beyond to ensure her comfort. Others like Jiha, who had previously assisted my mother (and other staff whose names I sadly didn’t catch), have also been wonderful. The doctors have been equally impressive. Dr. Teoh, who is overseeing my mother’s care this round, visits regularly and shows real concern for her progress and comfort. Dr. Nizar (Cardiology), Dato’ Dr. Suresh (Orthopaedics), and Dr. Aslina (Hepatology) have all been thorough, clear, and reassuring. One of the most touching moments? On the 11th, which happened to be her birthday, the staff—including Dr. Teoh—surprised her with a birthday cake and a small celebration right in her ward. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture, and it truly meant the world to her (and us). My mother used to be very anxious about hospitals— and even “allergic” to hospital environments. But Aurelius has completely changed that perception. She’s been genuinely happy and comfortable during both her stays here, and that says a lot. Highly, highly recommended for anyone seeking medical care delivered with heart. You won’t regret choosing Aurelius Hospital, inshaAllah.

My son was admitted to Aurelius Hospital, Alor Setar under the care of Dr. Ammar, on 29th May 2025 after injuring his left index finger. From the moment we arrived, we were met with efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care. We want to give our special thanks to Dr. Chong Wei Nian and all the staffs in the Emergency Department, who handled my son with great compassion and speed. Dr. Ammar, Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology Consultant, for his prompt and clear guidance throughout. His explanations regarding my son condition and procedure that he will performed was very clear and easy to understand. The admission and insurance process, managed by Ms. Hashitoh, was smooth, and the surgery was carried out the same evening. As for the OT side, Dr. Lim Wei Keong (Anaesthesiology) explained everything clearly and allowed me to accompany my son into the OT until the sedation effect works, together with the warm and cheerful team helped ease his fears. Thanks OT team! My son was admitted to the Paeds Ward. Earlier, despite a difficult branula insertion, Dr. Rahmah and the Paediatric Ward staff remained kind and patient handling my son’s violent behavior. Post-op, Dr. Ammar checked on my son immediately—he recovered well with no pain. Discharge was smooth, with Dr. Ammar personally handling the wound dressing and aftercare instructions. Billing and Pharmacy staff also very efficient with their job. We are truly grateful for the outstanding care and compassion from everyone involved. The hospitality, facility and the efficiency also very satisfied. Thank you for making a stressful experience so much easier. Keep up the excellent work!

Thanks to Dr Onn and DR Chong. The child was accidentally scalded. Under the careful care of the doctor, the child recovered quickly and the skin was repaired quickly. The facilities and services here are very good. The nurses are also very considerate and the food here is delicious. Although I was treated in the hospital, it felt like I was staying in a hotel. The environment and facilities are very good.

So far I have been to Aurelius Hospital Alor Setar twice.. First I brought my husband to the emergency.. honestly I have to say that the staff nurses at the emergency are very friendly and helpful.. the explanation from Doctor Chong is also easy for us to understand.. 2nd I brought my mother to consult with Doctor Fikri about my nerves.. every soft spoken doctor Fikri is.... His explanation is concise and easy to understand. He doesn't use doctor's language that we don't understand. And he won't tell us to do treatment if it's not necessary, just do what's necessary.. another assistant nurse is sis Fea who is cute and friendly. Sweet smile. Heheheheheheh.... 🥰 I really hope that Aurelius Hospital continues this attitude in serving patients regardless of level. The price there for outpatients for me is worth it.
