On 7 Nov, I had a keyhole surgery on my left knee due to a torn meniscus and I must say that my experience with Dr. tang and the staff at the Adventist Hospital Penang was beyond my expectation. To start with, i didn’t have to wait to book an appointment with him. Two days later, I took an MRI. On the following day, I was operated on ( my first time for being hospitalised even though it was only one day). The whole process was smooth, efficient and professionally executed. One month down the road, I have completed all medical treatment including several physiotherapy sessions and well on my way to full recovery. I expect to resume my favourite sports activities like tennis and table tennis next month. I cannot thank Dr. Tang and his team enough for helping me to regain my mobility and wish them every success in the future.

I recently had a severed tendon along with a damaged bicep and a spur in my collar bone. Dr Tang who specialises in sports injury at the Adventist Penang performed a 3hr + keyhole surgery on my shoulder. He is an amazing surgeon and 9 weeks later I am well on the mend with the very minimum of pain . Furthermore Dr. Tang and his assistant are incredible because not only have they taken great care of my health, but also they are very easy to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and aftercare for a patient as well as being an outstanding surgeon.

Doctor Tang Weng Chong performed surgery on my elbow to repair tennis elbow. Doctor Chong and his staff were very profession and while projecting confidence in his ability to perform the surgery I needed, was also very balanced regarding the outcomes and made no promises when explaining the procedure. The results exceeded my hope and the pain of over a year is gone and full recovery is expected. Doctor Chong bed side manner was excellent and his follow immediately after the surgery for days demonstrated his commitment. I also appreciated that Doctor Chong and his staff respected my time and did a good job to miniseries wait times. I strongly recommend Doctor Chong for orthopedic medicine consultations and surgery.

I had a bad fall back in April 2021 and diagnosed with a fractured shoulder bone. Dr.Tang Weng Chong attended to me and performed a procedure on me 4 days later. I was placed under his care over the next 4 months (both as in/out patient). I am recovering well and I wish to use this forum to thank and give a shout-out to Dr.Tang and his nurse Sham. A great doctor who does not mind sharing and going the extra mile. Fortunate for me to be under their care.
