Fate brought us together with Dr. Daniel Mohanaprakash. He is a pediatric surgeon at Pantai Hospital in Kuala Lumpur. Our first impression was very good. He is friendly, very informative, and detailed in his explanations. It may have been our first time meeting him, but the atmosphere felt so warm and familiar. He kindly explained to us about the cyst that might be on our child's left neck. He also suggested that we have an ultrasound and personally observed and discussed it with the doctor who performed the ultrasound on our child. He also gave us extraordinary encouragement, so we believed and were sure that our child was in the right hands. He successfully performed surgery to remove the branchial cyst on our child's neck. Although there were some obstacles because the cyst was attached to blood vessels, Dr. Daniel was very careful. He suggested that we undergo a CT angiogram for a safer surgery for the baby, the doctor, and everyone. We were very relieved when he successfully removed the branchial cyst on our child's neck. Truly impressed by the professionalism and confidence in the care of Dr. Daniel—confidence and clarity—makes a 8 year old patient feel reassured, understood, and respected. That’s a rare gift. Most efficient procedure ever! Checked in in the morning, procedure about 1 hour, checked out in the afternoon just in time for lunch.

We contacted Dr. Daniel for a surgery for undescended testis. He explained the procedure clearly and in detail to us and made us feel reassured. After the successful procedure, he gave us clear instructions for the wound care and was available for further minor concerns we had.
