Updated Review – 19 Nov & 6 Dec 2025 (Avisena Women’s & Children’s Specialist Hospital)
This is an update to my earlier review regarding my son's previous difficulties getting admitted.
My son was warded again on 19 November 2025. Initially, I did not want the clinic to refer us to Avisena Women’s & Children’s Specialist Hospital, but my wife had faith in the hospital and requested the doctor to go ahead with the referral. Looking back, I’m glad we followed her decision, because this time our experience was very positive.
From the moment we arrived, the Emergency Department staff and doctors treated my son with great care. The assessment was fast, professional, and reassuring. He was first admitted to HDU, and the next day safely transferred to a normal ward. Throughout his stay, the nurses, physiotherapy team, staff, and especially Dr. Ahmad provided excellent care, clear explanations, and showed genuine concern for his wellbeing.
Then on 6 December 2025, my son was admitted again, and once more the service was consistent — smooth, attentive, and handled with professionalism. The hospital team continued to show dedication, empathy, and efficiency during both admissions.
Because of these two positive experiences, the hospital has successfully regained my trust. I am truly grateful and will not hesitate to give my compliments and 5-star rating to the team involved.
My previous review will remain, as it reflects what we went through before — but this updated review highlights the major improvement in service quality and patient care shown by the current emergency & ward teams.
Thank you to all nurses, staff, physiotherapists, and Dr. Ahmad for treating my son with such kindness and professionalism.

Previous Experience:
Very disappointed. Many time my son was rejected to be warded after done early treatment at emergency. Such a big hospital building but not enough bed. Or there is some “Double Standard” going on. Recently was today around 10.30pm when my son was very weak after having wheezing. Being ask to check to other hospital at around 12am++. Wasting time to do checking & checking. Then need to do preliminary checking at other hospital. Now 2.45am still at emergency at other hospital. Thanks god other hospital accept for warded.
Being a loyal customer for many years. Even have scar on my shoulder cause of door tempered glass shattered, hit my shoulder & ear during my visit that time. Thanks
