We had an incredible experience at Columbia Asia Hospital, Petaling Jaya when our daughter was born. Dr. Dorris, our gynecologist, was professional, compassionate, and made the whole process smooth. We were equally impressed with Dr. Sam, the pediatrician, who ensured our newborn received the best care. A special shoutout to the nursing staff for their unwavering support and attentive care throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

UPDATE 30/4/2023--- Was admitted to the ED on 27/4/23 for my first natural delivery. I have to express my highest gratitude to my doctor, Dr Doris, together with the labor nurse in charge that day Elizabeth and Sanggari (hope i didnt mispell the name). They were very supportive at all time and made sure i was comfortable throughout the whole process. Also, would like to thanks so much to the nurses in ward, nursery, and Dr Sam for all the care. All of them were truly patient and caring! Thank You All!! --------------------------------------------------------- Been here for comprehensive health screening, came in 8am and done everything including doctor's consultation on the report at around 11am. Everyone is very polite and waiting time is just minimal. Also had few appointments with Dr Doris (gynae) and she is very gentle, accommodating and friendly. Her assisting nurse, Chan is very polite as well and will send reminder before every appointment.

So I have mixed reviews about Columbia Hospital, depending on why you are here. As a maternity hospital it is fabulous - Dr. Doris and team really took care of me spectacularly. Baby was born without a hitch and the aftercare for mom was superb. Dr. Doris has so much heart and kindness for her patients. 1 year later am back here for a health screening. While the screening itself was fine. The consultation after with Dr. Lee was off putting. Drs really should not make any assumptions about a patient's job without knowing ANYTHING about the patient. He made some off colour and insensitive comments. I work in non-profit and he made some judgemental remarks about easy jobs and I should get fired or leave to earn more money. Which is ridiculous as anyone working in the non-profit sector would know, with regard to our workload and motivations. Just stick to the medical advice and lay off anything else if you have nothing constructive to say. But am still giving 5-stars only because Dr. Doris and team are outstanding.

I come to this Columbia hospital for my 2nd baby pregnancy consultation and my in charge doctor is Dr. Doris. What I like about this hospital is their checkup waiting time . No hassle, no long waiting time . If I book at the time slot then I can just consult doctor straight around that time n not need to wait long time for consultation. Unlike other hospital which on first come first serve basis n have to spend almost half day just waiting for doctor consultation. And dr. Doris is a very friendly and patience doctor. She can answer your enquiries patiently and explain well also. This hospital also look clean and modern although not as big size as other popular hospital . And most importantly their staff service also very good n prompt.

Highly recommend Dr Doris, very positive and encouraging. Both of us are lucky to have her throughout whole pregnancy.
