June 2023 is my first experience to use LWE Hospital due to my FIL having a tumor which needs to be removed. When we are not sure which doctors shall we refer to, the counter PIC asks in general details and refers to specialists for further checking and referring to the correct doctor. Dr. Teh Ya Loon is a very patience and experienced doctor. He showed and explained everything clearly.After surgery, he knew my FIL was staying far from the island, so he proposed to write a letter so they can refer to a nearby government clinic for daily wound cleaning. During my FIL admitted to this hospital, i thought the environment would be like a local hospital crowded full of patients but surprisingly it was superb and the charges rate is cheap, we took the 6 beded. It is comfortable for patients. Regarding the nurse, the nurse we met was good, during admission, they ask everything is details n try to use the language that old people can communicate. After surgery they saw my FIL did not take any food, understood from the patient and checked with the doctor and explained the misunderstanding of the patient and prepared another food for my FIL.. this shows they monitor patients closely. In general , i am glad i had a very good experience with LWE Hospital in terms of doctor, nurse and services for the first time.
