I still remember 11/3 — the day I experienced a pain I had never felt before. The pain in my lower right stomach felt like being stabbed by a sharp needle a thousand times. After I told my family, I was rushed to Hospital Ara Damansara for treatment. That’s where I met a kind and strong guardian, Dr. Premjeet. The story started when I met him in the emergency ward. After he introduced himself, he immediately began diagnosing what was happening to my body. Once the CT scan results came back, it was unfortunately appendicitis. I was shocked at that moment because I thought it only happens when you’re older. After that, I was transferred to a normal, cozy ward where Dr. Premjeet explained the treatment I would receive. He told me the only way to treat it was through a minor surgery to remove the appendix. At first, I was scared because it would be my first surgery ever, but Dr. Premjeet stayed with me and explained everything in detail about the procedure and the appendix. It made me feel relaxed and calm, knowing that I was in very capable hands. When the time for surgery came, I was no longer scared because of what Dr. Premjeet had told me. The surgery went smoothly and perfectly, like the cherry on top. Even after the surgery, Dr. Premjeet continued to check on my condition, asking if I was still in pain and having friendly conversations with me. Time flies, and now it’s already been a week since that experience. I’m getting better thanks to all the kind and capable nurses, and especially the man of the match, Dr. Premjeet.
