My first pain management procedure was done by Dato Dr Abd Wahab Ghani in 2019 I felt good improvement in my back pain since then I come to KPJ every year to do pain management procedure. Why I decided to do this procedure in KPJ not in other hospital or other countries because of of many reasons : . Excellent treatment . Good health care . Good place for inpatient . Very kind of Staff . Very kind those whom are in Public Relations dept. dealing with non Malaysian I already suggested it to my family and friends and whom are asking me about pain management treatment since I have this problem for so long. Thanks to everyone in KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital. Allah bless you all.

Not even deserve any star actually and KPJ may not be affected by this review but I dont care i still want write my bad experience with KPJ.End Dec last year my brother went to KPJ Ampang to get early treatment for his injury. After MRI test and all, doktor sah kn kecederaan itu adalah ACL and need to do operation. My family decided to AOR and continue the treatment in gov hosp as we aware that the cost for ACL surgery is quite high and the insurance provided by the university is not enough to cover all the cost.Tp, kami di beri garenti oleh Dr Sheriman that the cost will not exceed 20k. It sounds quite impossible, right? Even nurse dekat wad tu pn bertanya kembali pd Dr Sheriman betul ke tak lebih 20k, kalau lebih mcm mana and the Dr said its okay dia tanggung. Bulan bintang betul kn.So kami proceed dengan operation tu and the next day tu bahagian billing call bagitau bill tengah running and dah cecah 27k and ask us to prepared around 10k sebab insurans yg pihak university provide up to 20k shj. So sekali lagi kami minta AOR terus because we know our financial and mmg kami bukan dari golongan yg mampu untuk ke hospital swasta.Dari pukul 1pm sampai pukul 5pm lebih baru doktor muncul. After check DATO' Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Ghani bagitau dah boleh discaj and nak check balik bill kenapa caj blh lebih 20k. Forget to mention sempat ya DATO' Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Ghani "bergurau" dgn kami which dia ckp tanah takde ke untuk di jual untuk settle kan bill tu lah. Bergurau je katanya. And he also mentioned, org kampung la biasa ada bnyak tanah. again just joking! Then kena sidai lagi. Pukul 8pm lebih the nurse come and inform dah boleh discaj and tak perlu bayar dulu. Nanti baru bincang semula pasal payment.Sampai bahagian payment pulak, kat sana mintak settle all bill kalau nak discaj. Sekali lagi I nk kena ulang everything. lepas call sana sini, then they said, kena bayr 5k dulu as a deposit and take my ic copy as a guarantor. Kat situ jugak sy tanya mcm mana dengan balance, and they said yg tu nanti boleh discuss balik dgn Dato, boleh buat another appointment jumpa Dato untuk discuss pasal payment tu or call customer service. So bayar lah dulu ya 5k tu. A week after, during follow up dengan Dato'. then Dato' mention yang diorang akan go through detail bill untuk check kenapa cas melebihi 20k. Pada masa tu sekali lagi kami mintak refer letter dengan Dato' untuk kami teruskan rawatan di Klinik Kerajaan. Dan Dato' cakap takpa boleh teruskan rawatan di sini. No need to worry about the payment. Wah wah wah. Macam menarik ya bunyi nya tu tapi tu semua dusta!Sempat juga Dato berpesan pada kami if ada adik or saudara mara yang masih belajar untuk advise kan supaya tak pilih untuk jadi Doktor. Kata Dato' tak berbaloi untuk hal hal macam ni lah. Biasa lah ramai orang dia particular siket tentang bayaran. The next follow up tu memang kami bayar je lah caj 67 ringgit tu walaupun kononnya sebelum ni kata dont worry about the payment.Servis hosp jgn ckp la. Tekan bell berkali kali baru nurse dtg. What to expect org baru lepas operate lutut. kaki tak boleh bergerak, of course lah perlukan bantuan nurse,After almost a month with discussion here and there so KPJ agree la untuk refund balik RM1804. K fine.People may said, kalau tak mampu knp nk pergi KPJ, please read again ya, yg kami memang tak berhasrat pun utk teruskan rawatan di KPJ tapi di gula gula kan with this and that.Kesimpulannya kt sini mmg betul betul worst exprience.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at KPJ Ampang. We arrived with a referral letter from a clinic (for an orthopedic referral - Dato’ Dr Abdul Wahab Abdul Ghani), expecting a thorough examination and professional explanation from the specialist. However, the examination conducted by the doctor was very brief and not comprehensive. Without any detailed explanation, we were immediately informed that our child needed to be admitted. As parents, we were truly confused and wondered if there were truly no other options. Tests like ultrasound were not offered at all, even though that should have aided in early diagnosis. It felt as though the decision was made hastily, and it was even more disappointing when it seemed to be based on profit, considering we were using insurance. Furthermore, the consultation fee reached RM200 for a very basic examination. This is not a small amount, and we certainly expected a more thorough, professional service focused on the patient's best interest, rather than just a rushed procedure without adequate explanation. I hope the hospital takes note of this matter and improves its communication methods and the process of making medical decisions with patients and their families.
