Waiting to be admitted.. Full house due to mawar hospital shut down.. But with efficient staff i managed to get room. Tomorrow will be my surgery removing stone under Dr Lee Ming..this my 2nd experiance removal stone.My advice.. . Pls drink a lot water and watch your uric acid.. Wish Me Luck..

Previously, I received treatment at another hospital for kidney stones and had a nightmarish experience during the stent insertion procedure. The experience was terrifying and painful. To make matters worse, I was not informed about the treatment procedure. When I asked the nurses who took me to the treatment room, they were also unaware of my treatment procedure. Was it local or general anesthesia? How would the treatment be performed? None of this was explained until I was in the treatment room, and the procedure was carried out without regard for my feelings or the fear I was experiencing. All I remember clearly is screaming in pain throughout the procedure. If you or a family member were in my situation, would you undergo such a painful treatment, awake and without anesthesia? When I learned that the stent needed to be removed within 6 months, I became even more fearful, as I would have to go through the same procedure I had already experienced. I was scared and would never want to undergo that procedure again at the same place with the same people. I developed a phobia and trauma about returning for treatment there to have the stent removed. While the stent was in my ureter and after my sick leave ended, I returned to work as usual, but my condition was not the same. I was uncomfortable every day. Sleeping was difficult, working was difficult, even walking was difficult. Any slight movement caused me pain in my abdomen, especially on the left side where the stent was placed. I frequently took sick leave. My appointment at the hospital was still far off, at the end of January. Therefore, I decided to seek treatment at Columbia Asia Hospital Seremban. On 7/1/2021 at 8:30 AM, I went to Columbia Asia Hospital and met with Dr. Lee Ming, a Urologist. I recounted my previous treatment experience and my health issues after that treatment to Dr. Lee Ming. He understood the problems I was facing and asked me if I wanted the stent removed that day. I was surprised, as I thought I would need another appointment for the stent removal process. I could no longer bear the pain of having the stent in my body. I immediately agreed, as long as I could return to a normal life like before. Dr. Lee Ming explained how the procedure would be performed. Dr. Lee Ming knew I was very afraid of undergoing the procedure due to my previous bad experience. He calmed me down and assured me that there was nothing to worry about for this treatment. Despite being extremely scared, the clear explanation and reassurance from Dr. Lee Ming made me feel more confident and safe to proceed with the procedure. After an X-ray was taken, I was admitted to the OT Day Care for the stent removal procedure. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Lee Ming and the nurses kept me calm, perhaps they could see the fear I was experiencing. Before the treatment, anesthesia was administered. When the instrument was inserted, I only felt a slight movement, and then suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the stent was removed. I felt immense relief. I only felt slight abdominal tightness, but Dr. Lee Ming quickly offered a pain injection. I was asked to rest for a while before meeting Dr. Lee Ming again. I was discharged in the afternoon. The treatment process was very easy and fast. Dr. Lee Ming was attentive to my problems and provided excellent care throughout my treatment there. The experience was very comfortable, reassuring, and most importantly, I felt safe and had no hesitation in undergoing the treatment. If I had friends or family members experiencing similar pain, I would definitely recommend Dr. Lee Ming. Once again, thank you very much, Dr. Lee Ming.
