Dr Jason was willing to answer trivial and seemingly stupid questions. sometimes i asked questions early in the morning and night. I panicked after leaving the hospital, not knowing how to care for the surgical wound, what to eat, fear of the wound tearing and rotting, fear of blood spots,told my anxiety. He gave me answers about what to do and always said, "Everything's good, don't worry." (A simple, seemingly ordinary sentence, but it made me feel calm again.) he was very patient with me. If it were another doctor, my WhatsApp might have been blocked 😁. He gave me a free consultation, taught me how to apply hormones to my arm, and told me where to buy souvenirs at Oriental kopi in Gurney Plaza and Queensbay. He gave me a cheese pineapple tart. I am very grateful to still receive support after leaving the hospital, as he responded to all my WhatsApp messages. These seemingly simple things mean so much to me ❤️. There are many great doctors, but Dr. Jason has a heart to serve that the other doctors maybe won't do. We may not meet again, but what you have done has touched my heart. My experience with Dr. Jason Yap Ker Wei (OB/GYN) and Dr. Ong Teng Khiam (Orthopaedic) as a tourist was phenomenal. They provided thoughtful care with great patience. The hospital is run very efficiently and I highly recommend for any local or tourist in Penang island.
