I recently had a C-section for my first baby at ParkCity Medical Center with Dr. Jaspal Singh, and overall, it was a great experience. Dr. Jaspal was wonderful at explaining what to expect—which was so important for us as first-time parents. He truly respected our original natural birth plan, and only moved to a C-section after patient discussion and waiting. I really appreciated his objective breakdown of the pros and cons for each delivery method; it was reassuring and helped us feel confident in our final decision. The procedure itself was very well executed, and I felt at ease throughout. The anaesthetist, Dr. Shereen, was also very skilled in administering the spinal anesthesia. The whole process took less than an hour. My stitch was done nicely and no complications to my recovery so far. We stayed in a single ward; while it wasn’t the newest facility, it was clean and well-maintained, which was our priority. The nursery nurses were also very helpful with the baby during our stay. Lastly, a huge thanks to Azreen, Dr. Jaspal's assistant, for being so patient, helpful, and accommodating throughout all our consultations.
