Finally decided to take the plunge and gift myself with corrective eye surgery. The intention was to opt for lasik but was advised that the ICL procedure would be more suitable for my eye condition. Dr were well equipped with info, patiently explain on my condition and advice the best solution for my eyes. After 30+ years wearing glasses, finally i got chance to feel whats like going to bathroom early morning without bother to look for glasses. I am from the UK and currently spending time in Malaysia as my daughter completes schooling here. From the Onset of finding out my cataract diagnosis I was concerned as I had previously had corrective eye surgery, LASIK and PRK in both eyes to correct short sightedness . Following a consultation at another clinic I was advised to return to the UK Moorfields hospital where they would be able to assist me. I was recommended by my good Friend Vila to contact the Ipoh Eye specialist Centre where she had seen and consulted with Dr shin .. immediately I called and visited. My consultation put me at ease 100 percent.. I felt confident as he explained the procedures also the prior checks were rigorous and the choices available to me was explained thoroughly. I immediately agreed on an Operation time within a week and felt at ease. Operation day I was nervous but still quite comfortable with the environment and as I watched fellow patients in and out without looking stressed. My concerns were alleviated. I have just completed my final check with Dr Shin, his approach his professionalism highly gratifying.
