Dr. Teh Chu Leong is a very kind and good doctor. He performed my father’s prostate surgery in year 2025 ; however, it seems that he retired in early 2026.

Five years ago, my child was diagnosed with nephritis in Semarang and was scheduled for a kidney biopsy. Fortunately, we postponed it. A relative advised us to take our child to Penang. We searched on Google for Penang hospitals that could treat kidney disease and chose Adventist. It turned out that at Adventist Hospital, Dr. Lim Hooi Leng was able to find the cause of the swollen kidneys, which was a swollen parathyroid gland in the neck, requiring neck surgery. With the collaboration of two other doctors, Dr. Teh Chu Leong (urologist) and Dr. Cheong Yew Tek (surgeon), and through many stages of treatment and various difficulties, thank God our child was helped and treated. Fortunately, it wasn't too late to treat it. Being thorough and precise in choosing a doctor for treatment accelerates patient recovery and prevents the disease from worsening. We are not happy about seeking treatment abroad, but we hope Indonesia can improve the quality of its doctors and paramedics so that illnesses are not prolonged.

This is the first time I've sought treatment at a hospital and it wasn't as daunting as I expected. The doctor's diagnosis was very positive, explaining everything, even the most severe risks, yet providing peace of mind for the patient and family. The hospital's service was excellent, and the doctor's consultation fee was very affordable, considering the doctor's qualifications from the world's top universities.
