Very quiet and good hospital environment. Doctors attended to my dad were knowledgeable with well explanation. Especially surgeon Dr Soh (Orthopaedic). It's a good point that the feedback team asking for feedback daily wards by wards, although the person asked for feedback on the first day of admission which we don't know much about the service yet. When time passed I have some feedback and suggestions for the management here. -One of the nurses attended to my dad call bell seemed not very 'happy'. Frowning and never greet the patient. When I asked her if my dad can go toilet with all the drip and epidural block she just walked out and asked her colleague by shouting but never get back to us. Until I have to go to the counter and asked for assistance after a couple of minutes. Btw the call bell not working, luckily the wall call button still can function. Most of the nurses very helpful and always smile. -Need more improvement for A class service. Teabreak only serve a pack of chocolate powder without a cup and a pack of plain wholemeal bread. It's not convenient for those patients need to be rest in bed to make a cup of coffee. -Regarding infection control: noticed nurses here never use alcohol swab before connecting the drip and the urine bag tip actually touched the floor one day when I visit my dad. I not sure what is the policy but hopefully this is not against the practice of MOH and WHO. I would suggest to have a team to round the ground for a better and safer patient care. Hopefully will increase more parking lots soon and improve the standard of nursing practice and customer service for all department.
