I had a fall and fractured my left wrist sometime in April 2025 and had operation done by an orthopaedic surgeon. Blade was inserted and screws were used to secure the blade. Unfortunately, complication arises 2 months later in June. I found that my thumb was drooping and l am unable to lift it up. By chance I met Dr. Kumaresh Raj in Sunway Medical Centre who recommended me to Dr. Chua Wei Siong, an orthopaedic surgeon, specialised in hand and microsurgery. My first consultation with Dr. Chua l found that he is most professional and possess good bedside manners. He really spent time to explain my conditions clearly and acted quickly. Ultra sound showed suspected ruptured tendon. He performed surgery with remarkable skill and confidence. His calmness, expertise and genuine dedication make me feel completely relaxed and safe throughout my treatment. Once again thank you Dr. Chua for your exceptional care and dedication. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Chua for agreeing to perform the carpal tunnel surgery on the patient’s left hand despite the added complexity of the patient undergoing dialysis through the same arm.
