I recently had surgery at Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau to remove a metal plate that had been implanted in my left hand 18 years ago. After consulting several orthopedic specialists elsewhere, most advised against removing it due to the complexity and risks involved after so many years. However, when the implant began causing a severe infection that threatened to spread to my bloodstream and affect the bone, surgery became unavoidable. I’m truly grateful to have been treated by Dr. Sam Sei Haw, whose calm confidence and humble nature immediately put me at ease. Despite the challenges, he handled the procedure with great precision and care, turning what seemed like a complicated case into a smooth and successful surgery. My sincere appreciation also goes to the nursing team at MD07, who provided outstanding post-operative care. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely compassionate — I felt safe and well cared for throughout my stay. This was my third surgery in 18 years, and without a doubt, my experience at Columbia Asia Tebrau has been the best. From consultation to recovery, everything was well-coordinated and handled with genuine concern for the patient’s comfort and well-being. 22/1 until 25/1 I was here for my orthopaedic surgery under Dr Sem treated my left hand wrest, my surgery went very well, all nurses cared very well , secondly admitted at the same week 27/1 for influenza😆😂 Twice got admitted here , Dr. Harpreet treated me , also concern on me very well , service was superb , food here also good , tried all meals these weeks, this hospital really so neat and clean compared to other private hospital, please maintain it , thanks for everything 🙏🏻

On January 4, 2026, I was involved in an accident and fractured my finger. I underwent surgery performed by Dr. Sem Sei Hew. Today, I came for my second operation to remove the wire from the fractured finger. Dr. Sem’s work was flawless, and his gentle advice made me feel comfortable receiving treatment here. A very satisfying experience at Hospital Colombia Tebrau I have undergone two important procedures at Hospital Colombia Tebrau, and both provided an excellent, professional, and calming experience. 1. Dr. Omar Badrin – Colonoscopy / Scop I underwent the scop (colonoscopy) procedure with Dr. Omar Badrin. He is a gentle, careful, and very professional doctor who explained every step clearly. 2. Dr. Sem Sei Haw – Trigger Finger Surgery My trigger finger surgery was performed by Dr. Sem Sei Haw. He was very meticulous, patient, experienced, and provided very clear explanations before and after the surgery. My thanks also go to the male nurse named Farid, who was very helpful, friendly, and ensured my comfort throughout the treatment process. Overall, the service at this hospital is excellent.
