My 77 yr old mum just had major open combined gynaecological & urological surgery at BMC. I was impressed at how quickly her scans and tests were done, as well as the only hospital in Sarawak with PET scan which helped guide mums treatment. Mum was treated compassionately with twice daily visits by Specialists and was explained her options all throughout this very stressful time. She had physiotherapy pre-op and after her procedure. Mum woke up from her anaesthetic beautifully; alert, minimal pain, no nausea / vomiting and was already walking 1 day after major open surgery and discharged after 4 days! A really big thank you to all the outstanding doctors, nurses, physio for your exceptional care my mum received, Dr Philip Kho, Dr Khor, Dr Lai, Dr Chew, Dr Chang, Dr James Law.
