Dr. Ronald Arun Das has been my mother's consultant opthalmologist since she was his patient in Hospital Selayang. Dr. Ronald has always provided the absolute best care and optimal treatment during every visit. The doctor have been very helpful and kind to my mother. It was a gift for my mother to have Dr. Ronald who gave back her vision when she was suffering from diabetic retinopathy, cataract and glaucoma. I was only in Kuala Lumpur for a few days and had an eye infection. Due to the bad reviews, I almost didn't go to the clinic. The entrance wasn't easy to find. Definitely bring an ID, as you'll need it downstairs at reception and again at the clinic's reception. The clinic is relatively large. Everything seems quite well organized. The waiting room is a bit hectic and run-down, but I didn't have to wait long (approx. 5-10 minutes in total). After an initial check, I was seen by Dr. Ronald Arun Das. He spoke excellent English and quickly identified the problem. He was patient and explained the diagnosis thoroughly. I understood what was happening with my body better after this visit than after some doctor's visits in Germany. In less than 45 minutes, I had a diagnosis, an information sheet, and the appropriate medication. Although my travel insurance covers it anyway, the whole thing only cost 165 MYR (about €36). All staff were friendly and helpful. It was also nice that they called me because I had dropped my SIM card holder and forgotten it at the clinic. I can only recommend it!

I had brought my mother who had cataract in both eyes with reduced vision about 2 months ago to see Dr Ronald after being referred by a friend. My mother was very comfortable with this caring doctor from the onset. He speaks with a gentle tone and is very knowledgeable and confident. He is very experienced and was able to trouble shoot our problems and see to my mom's queries reassuringly. This convinced my mother from the very start that she would have the cataract operation done with Dr Ronald though she could have done it for free in public hospital. As expected the day came for surgery and everything went smoothly and now my mother's eyesight has been restored!. Her long standing dry eye problem was also delved with systematically and has no more complaints of teary and itchy eyes. Many thanks to Dr Ronald for his professionalism care par excellence. Having recently completed both eyes cataract surgery, am thrilled with the results. Dr Ronald was highly recommended to me by my cousin (who is an Optometrist).
