if u are looking for a hospital with friendly staff and doctors, this is the place to go to. my first visit for a medical exam and never felt more relaxed! from the registration all the way to the consultation doctors were so caring,polite and the most importantly with a smile. The radiologist on duty( so sorry.. i couldn't see your name tag),really made all the xray related activities less nerve racking. her gentle disposition and care, helped me get through the sessions. just one thing that could help is if the nurses could call the patients by standing outside the room..else the patients have to keep guessing where this voice is coming from😀 Thank you so much Corine, for helping me with the appointment. Thanks to Ms Sena, a very helpful and very observant person.. ensuring everyone is well taken care off Thanks Dr Uma, for patiently explaining the test results as well as the recommendations. truly appreciated!

i took my mother to Beacon Cancer Hospital in 2020 after exhausting all my options with other hospitals who were honestly very BIG and over-rated. My mother was under the treatment of Dr. Tengku and being treated for Multiple Myeloma. I got confused initially as my family were skeptical about the hospital. But, as the time progressed, i realized that this hospital was more patient and disease focused rather on getting their pockets full. in my last 1.5 years at any given point i didnt felt that the hospital ever forced me into anything rather shared/addressed all my concerns and did accommodated my family inputs on multiple occasions. Later as the disease progressed, my mother was jointly handled by Pellative team headed by Dr. Felicia. She is one of nicest persons i have ever met and her whole team are professionals who not only managed the progression symptoms but also covered the home visits and looked after my mother as their own. My mother recently passed away peacefully but the team of Dr. Tengku and Dr. Felicia saved her life on multiple occasions in the last many months when she went into critical stage including Covid. Although i have lost one of my greatest possessions in my life but looking back at hospital days spent with beacon i have realized one of the qualities which makes Beacon Hospital different from others..."Its the personalized human touch". They not only share your pain and grief but everyone over there is always ready to support you in any possible way they can" You are not looked as a debit/credit card or a source of revenue but a living soul seeking their professional guidance. I may have spent over 200 K approx. over the course of the treatment covering multiple hospitalizations with countless blood transfusions, emergency, ICU, Tests, Medicines and Home Visits, but this cost as compared with other BIG hospitals was 100% lesser while the quality of treatment and medicines being administered remained above par with the other leading hospitals in KL. Lastly my respect to the Pellative team for taking care of my mother in her last days and supporting her round the clock for pain management and made her comfortable and in peace.

Whilst we found Dr Lum and Dr Felicia to be very experienced and provided the perspective of holistic care, the palliative care team service are under par. We engaged occupational therapist home visit who wasn't experienced enough, and was outsourced. Discussion with nutritionist was unhelpful, recommending milk supplement drinks eventually. Overall, no one will follow up. Very disappointed. Thankfully we found Hospis Malaysia who supported us closely, and all of their services are free!

My mom the late Madam Tan Kim Hau passed away on the 13/8 afternoon with all the close family members holding her 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I would like the express my most heartfelt gratitude to the palliative doctor Dr Felicia … towards the last stage of my mom’s journey ! How your love, professionalism and how you spoke connecting deeply to her , showered her with your most loving kindness personalised care for her is really heart warming ❤️❤️❤️ Special thanks to Ruth the nurse who visited us and gave comfort and care for my mom … your kind energy made a deep impression 🙏🏻 My mom and I were blessed to have met the team who showered the best care with kindness and compassion I believe my mom passed with much much less suffering and pain 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Please keep loving and caring for patients … as I believe all doctors must CARE before CURE … as the ultimate purpose ! The doctors are friendly, Dr. Azura, Dr. Luqman, Dr. Balan, Dr. Felicia were all very helpful. I hope my mother recovers soon. May she be healthy again as before... Amen. They provided the best service with love. Many thanks.
