I visited Dr Thuraikumar with severe herniated disc in two spots (L4-L5 and L5-S1) at my lower back. I could barely walk and had unbearable pain most of the day and couldn't sleep at nights. It was the worst I've ever been. At first I didn't trust a spine surgery because of the negative commentaries I read from internet, however since I didn't have any other option I agree to it. It was the best decision I've ever made!! Dr was kind, empathic and very confident in his skills to treat me. He was brutally honest about my situation from the get go and it helped me to make a decision fast enough. Surgery was done without any problem and it took me a few days to start walking again after the operation, however recovery was very fast since the moment I got back on my feet. Currently I'm 2 months post surgery and feel like having a new chance in life. My spine feels better than ever and having almost zero post-op issues. Can't say how much I'm thankful to Dr Thuraikumar for taking me as their patient.

A very cheerful, patient & thorough doctor, explaining every single step of the process, and had given me many helpful suggestions. I was given 2 surgery options XLIF or MASTLIF (medical jargon i learnt) which are the best and fatest recovery based on Dr's suggestion. Less than 1 day, im able to get out from my bed without the back pain and limbs numbness ANYMORE. Now, im return to my normal life, my usual routine. Dr Thurai is my life savior! PS: Slight pain on the wound only. SIDE NOTE: I have a chronic back pain and numbness on my limbs for few years, the conditions worsen this year and i can barely raise them up, I was so so so afraid that i couldn't walk anymore that time before surgery. No more for now!

I'm very greatful to the surgeon Mr.Thuraikumar I was suffering with a very severe back pain and had gone through multiple spinal epidural injections but doesn't solve my problem the pain kept coming it was unbearable to a point I can't live like this anymore untill I was recommended to meet the good Dr.Thurai now after my surgery I've never felt so Free from pain and relief and joy knowing I'll be able to live life as I used to. thanks to Dr.Thurai me and my family we are very grateful .
