⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are no words that can fully describe our gratitude to Dr. Shankar (ENT Surgeon) and Dr. Sharon Casilda (Neurosurgeon). My husband was in a life-threatening condition, and our entire family had almost lost hope. During the darkest moment of our lives, these two incredible doctors gave us something we thought we had lost forever—hope. My husband went through four brain surgeries and a complex CSF leak repair, and every operation carried enormous risks. Yet, Dr. Shankar and Dr. Sharon Casilda never gave up on him. I will never forget the words they told me: “We will do our very best to save your husband.” They stood by that promise until the very end. Every minute and every second, they worked tirelessly with extraordinary skill, dedication, and compassion to save his life. For them, it was never about money—it was about their responsibility, commitment, and determination to save a human life. Their teamwork and expertise gave my husband a second chance to live. As a wife, watching the person you love fight for his life is the most painful experience anyone can go through. I was scared, heartbroken, and emotionally exhausted. But Dr. Shankar and Dr. Sharon Casilda never stopped encouraging me. They gave me strength, confidence, and hope when I felt like giving up. Their kindness, patience, and reassurance helped me survive the hardest days of my life. Today, my husband is alive because of both of you. You didn’t just save one patient—you saved a husband, a son, and an entire family. To us, both of you are not just doctors; you are true heroes and a blessing from God. In our opinion, doctors like Dr. Shankar and Dr. Sharon Casilda truly deserve recognition and awards for their exceptional dedication, surgical excellence, and compassionate care. 一年前我脑出血中风而导致左边身体瘫痪，半张脸也是，最后还不能吞咽及说话，视力也模糊不清。 我机缘巧合下来到了KPJ Johore Specialist 的急诊部门，那时候是晚上接近午夜时分。 庆幸的是在这里我遇到了 Dr Sharon Casilda ,她是我的主治医生。我的脑干出血是不能动手术的，她总是很有耐心的跟我的先生讲解我的每日情况，而她也会提醒我们记得和康复医生讨论，如何跟pekeso申请到IHT做康复训练。她介绍的康复医生Dr Sharon Anne Khor 对我的康复起了很重要的关键。 （是的，她们两个都叫Sharon。一个说话铿锵有力，让人听了会精神起来，另一个则说话温柔却具有说服力。她们两个对中风病患来说是很棒的搭配。） Dr Sharon Anne几乎每天都有来看我，我还以为她是KPJ 的医生。后来复诊时才知道她是这里的Visit Doctor。她主要是在HSI任职,是康复部门主任。 在我瘫痪时，她给予我先生的宝贵意见，让我出院后的复健取得很大的帮助。在我无法吞咽后，也是听了她的劝解才愿意装上喂食管。 总之，我们非常感恩及感谢在这里遇到了两位，Dr Sharon Casilda Theophilus和Dr Sharon Anne Khor。 A year ago, I suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and stroke, which left me paralyzed on the left side of my body, including half of my face. Eventually, I lost the ability to swallow and speak, and my vision became blurry. By chance, I arrived at the emergency department of KPJ Johor Specialist late one night, close to midnight. Fortunately, I met Dr. Sharon Casilda here, who became my attending physician. Since my brainstem hemorrhage was inoperable, she patiently explained my daily condition to my husband. She also reminded us to discuss with the rehabilitation doctor about applying to IHT through PEKESO for rehabilitation training. The rehabilitation doctor she recommended, Dr. Sharon Anne Khor, played a crucial role in my recovery. (Yes, both of them are named Sharon. One speaks with a powerful and inspiring voice, while the other is gentle yet persuasive. For stroke patients, they make a fantastic team.) Dr. Sharon Anne visited me almost every day, and I assumed she was a doctor at KPJ. It wasn’t until my follow-up appointment that I learned she is a visiting doctor here, serving primarily as the head of the rehabilitation department at HSI. During my paralysis, the valuable advice she gave my husband greatly aided my post-discharge rehabilitation. When I was unable to swallow, it was her persuasion that finally convinced me to accept a feeding tube. In short, we are immensely grateful to have encountered Dr. Sharon Casilda Theophilus and Dr. Sharon Anne Khor here.
