She possesses a diverse educational background from Malaysian and American institutions, specializing in general ophthalmology, paediatric ophthalmology, and advanced refractive surgery. Dr. Shafie is renowned for her expertise in procedures such as phacoemulsification cataract surgery, various laser treatments, and modern refractive surgeries including Femto LASIK, LASEK, ReLEX SMILE, and Refractive Lens Exchange.
