I am extremely happy with Sunway’s Cancer Support Service. During chemo port implantation, I was warmly welcomed by the surgery team and they made me at ease during the entire process. 👍. The whole crew at the chemotherapy ward under the leadership of Farah, is very dedicated, passionate and highly competent in taking care of me during treatment. They have given me lots of motivation and assurance to stay positive at all times. 🤩 Special thanks to Tengku and her nurses at 1st floor, who made the blood taking and chemo port setup a fearless and painless weekly event. 😃. The coordinator, Ms Stephnie is very fast in responding and communicating my concerns and queries and has been very meticulous in supporting my administrative needs as well. She has become a very reliable and helpful friend to me and has put in her extra effort to help me to collect my lunch delivery to chemo ward. She arranged the trying and purchasing of prosthesis breast for me without the hassle of having to travel out from the hospital. 🙏. Dr Cheah Soon Keat, my oncologist, is a very caring doctor, he is very patience with all my feedbacks and provides me with answers and solutions to keep me motivated during treatment. He gives me clarity with regards to associated risks and benefits of each drug, which help in decision making of the treatment. 👍. The breast surgeon Dr Cheah Sin Dee is also a passionate, understanding and knowledgable doctor who provides me with valuable information to make the right decision on my surgery. He did a great mastectomy for me, and took great care of my post-surgery recovery. 🙏. Not to forget Ms Lim Yong Xin, Clinical Psychologist and Dr Poh Yoh Chew, Consultant Psychiatrist who have played significant roles in helping me to cope with anxiety and mental stress in this journey to battle with breast cancer. 💪 Other than those mentioned above, Sunway Medical Penang staff in general are very helpful and patience. The clinic assistant did their level best to keep waiting time to the minimum and staff in Emergency Ward know their protocol well and prompt in acting. The ward nurses at Level 8 are very meticulous in taking care of me after my surgery. Nurses at Level 7 under the leadership of Sister Kanmani, is very supportive and helpful as well. Staff at Radiology and heart scanning made effort to calm and assure me at all times. Even the Customer Sevice personnel such as Cik Afifah spent time listening to my needs and provided guidance. 🎉 I trust and hope that this level of good service and hospitality is uphold forever in Sunway Medical Penang as you are going to be part of my life while I continue my treatment in coming 6 months and eventually entering into another phase of remission with the continuous technology advancements and medical solutions.💪 Thank you for being there for me! 🙏
