On my cancer journey, I am truly grateful to have met Dr. Tan Yee Ling from Breast Clinic Sunmed Velo. She is a doctor with great medical ethics and compassion. Her clinic is always full of patients, need to wait some times even though we have made appointment. But it is ok for me as i know she always spend times to explain well to her patients. Due to certain reasons, I couldn't have my surgery at this hospital and Dr. Tan was not my operating surgeon, yet she still helped me make all the necessary arrangements and patiently explained the entire surgical process to me. After the surgery and radiation therapy, she continued to show genuine care for my recovery. She also answered my questions regarding post-operative recovery, and even some follow-up consultations were provided without additional charges. On top of that, she kindly gave me some items that were useful for my recovery with free of charge also! I’m truly thankful to Dr. Tan and her assistant clinic Ms Chris.

Sunway Medical Velocity is home to many excellent specialists — not just in their medical expertise, but also in the quality of care they provide. I’m especially grateful to my oncologist, Dr. Hafizah Zaharah binti Ahmad, and my breast surgeon, Dr. Tan Yee Ling. Both are incredibly passionate, humble, and always take the time to answer my endless questions with patience and clarity. 💛 Also not to forget the amazing nursing team — a special shoutout to Gina Ang & Nurse Noor Hafizah, who took such great care of me during my stay. Dr Yee Ling is not only an experienced breast surgeon, but also incredibly humble, polite, and patient. What stood out the most was how she listened attentively and offered reassurance throughout — always speaking with calmness and positivity. Dr Tan Yee Ling is very patience and caring. I've operation on my thyroid and she did it well and I'm glad that she is the surgeon for my surgery.

My mum been treated well under Dr. Tan Yee Ling. Truly appreciate for Dr.Tan's patience and willing to explain in detail when my mum worried about her health condition and good advice been given as well. Finally my mum calm down and won't feel nervous about her health condition. Dr. Tan really concern and caring on patient as my mum should stop eating aspirin one week before operation, but to avoid patient forgotten, Assistant Dr. Tan called and Dr. Tan sent voice message as reminder also.
