I recently delivered my baby at Sunway Hospital. My baby had to be delivered via a scheduled c section and I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital and their team. The whole delivery process was smooth and staff had maintained their professionalism throughout my whole stay. Special thanks to Dr Lim Wan Teng (Obgyn) and Dr. Lynn Tiong (peads).

It was one of the best choice to have selected Dr. Lim Wan Teng as my Gynae for my first born. She is very patient and providing me with helpful suggestion/encouragement when I needed. Usually I don’t need to wait for long unless doctor needs to attend to any operation or emergency case. Thanks to the doctor, midwifes and nurses at both the maternity ward and nursery, my delivery journey was smooth and safe as well as my baby is being well taken care of. For the maternity ward, being a new building does add on points for the overall experience, the basic single room is pretty spacious and comfortable with a great view outside. In the room there is a sofa which is collapsible to become a sofa bed for the caretaker to rest on. Though the hospital meals are quite delicious but sometimes it can be over seasoned. The only things I would like to highlight for the team to improve would be the coordination during the discharge. It was Saturday and understand there might be fewer person working which kinda drag the process for quite long, but I was surprised to know that the medicine prescribed was not given to me on time before I got discharged, instead the pharmacy team only brought it to the ward after I have done the payment and left the hospital. And I only found it out on the 2nd day that the medicine was still at the hospital and ended up I need to return to the hospital to pick it up on another day.
