Dr. Zaharuddin Bin Rahmat @ Mohd. Rawi is a highly qualified Consultant Gynaecologist, Gynae-Oncologist, and Robotic Surgeon at Sunway Medical Centre. He specializes in gynaecological oncology, obstetrics, and gynaecology. He holds an MBBS and a Master of Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the University of Malaya, and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (FRCOG, London) and the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (FACOG, USA). Dr. Zaharuddin is also a certified Gynae-Oncologist by both the Malaysian Ministry of Health and the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), making him the first Malaysian to achieve the ESGO certification. His further qualifications include being a certified colposcopist (Diagnostic & Therapeutic) by the British Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology (BSCCP/RCOG, UK) and having a Certificate of da Vinci Technology for robotic surgery. He has extensive experience, particularly in managing women's cancers (cervical, uterine, and ovarian) and performing minimally invasive procedures.
