From my very first appointment, the level of expertise and attentiveness demonstrated by Dr. Shamsul Iskandar Hussein was truly commendable. Dr. Shamsul conducted a thorough examination, including X-ray and MRI scans, leading to the accurate diagnosis of my injury tear in the meniscus area. His expertise not only provided clarity on my condition but also paved the way for an effective treatment plan. Dr. Shamsul genuine concern for his patients' well-being is evident, and his clear communication instilled confidence in the course of action recommended. I must also express my gratitude to Nurse Nadhirah (assistance for Dr Shamsul), who exhibited unparalleled professionalism and compassion throughout my visits. Came to the Hospital to treat my leg injury. Since I stepped in I was welcomed warmly. The lobby staffs even quickly came up and helped my wife to settle me down on the wheel chair. The Emergency Registration registered me in a swift and i was called in to be assessed. MO Dr Amri took good care and prescribed me with painkiller IV while my admission was in process. MRI was done in the evening on the same day. All the staffs were kind enough to calm me down and eased the pressure of getting the MRI done. Dr.Shamsul the Orthopedist came early in the morning with my MRI result and explained everything to me in a detailed manner. He was nice enough to give me few options for me to decide on the next steps. Nurses at the ward and the rehabilitation staffs were very helpful and friendly. They even cracked up some jokes and made me smile. Food was fantastic !!! Not your basic hospital food i would say. Also unlike other hospitals discharge process didn’t take up almost a day. It was done so quickly. Lastly, i had a pleasant experience during my stay and visit in DSH2. Thanks to my wife for bringing me here. She really changed my unpleasant negative experience thoughts about hospital visits.

Came here after an emergency fall with our 4 year old on a Saturday - the experience at ER was smooth and fast and we found out she had multiple fractures. Our follow up with Dr Shamsul (orthopaedic) was easy and he is comforting for parents and he knows how to handle kids well too. Highly recommended
