I recommend KPJ Selangor and all of their staff as well as their facilities. One of the best private hospitals in the Klang Valley from my personal experience. I would like to convey my utmost and sincere thanks to Dr Jamal, Dr Shaharuddin & Dr Marlizan for operating on me for my emergency case spinal fusion surgery. It's been 9 months after my surgery and I have to thank them that I'm now 99% fully recovered and living my life normally again. I had acute slipped disc in March this year. I'm very grateful that Dr Jamal was willing to see me as a walk-in patient on the 22nd of March for initial diagnosis, when the referred hospital I was initally given to ; the next appointment slot just to see the doctor was on the 30th April 2024. The entire team's dedication, proffesionalism, emphaty and care, to operate on me, on a Sunday morning no less, (24th March 2024) after my admission the day before due to the emergency nature of my case, can't be thanked enough. I will be forever grateful and thankful to them for saving me and avoiding further complications caused by cauda equina due to the slipped disc. It has been a pleasure meeting Kak Maz, and of course Dr Jamal & Dr Shaharuddin for my many follow ups since surgery. Both of them are very professional, kind, understanding and patient centric. Never once any questions I had was not answered. Everything was clearly explained to me. Lastly, a very big thank you to the entire team of kind nurses that took care of me for 6 days while i was admitted. I was diagnosed with a herniated disc by Dr. Shaharuddin Abdul Rhani and was explained on the situation very clearly. The test results; X-ray and MRI were presented thoroughly. I was made known to the options of treatments possible and I appreciate being included in taking the responsibility towards my own body. Alhamdulillah, the laser surgery went well, leaving no scar, and I am soo happy that I can immediately bend forward and perform my prayers normally. Thank you soo much Dr. Shaharuddin for the great consultation as well as the amazing skills of surgery. Thanks to the anesthetic team and to all the operation theatre staff for arranging the whole process smoothly and safely. Utmost gratitude for the care of all the staff in ward 2B; Ms. Shuba, Ms. Najwa, Ms. Afiqah, Ms. Yana and all other nurses I don't know their names to mention, for the warm services, great hospitality and attentive care. Not to be forgotten on the great services by Ms. Nadia from the rehabilitation team. Thanks a lot KPJ Selangor for the great support, facilities and services. ------------- However, to be fair on the reviews, the admission process took unnecessarily long even though my GL has been approved within minutes by Etiqa. The beyond 2 hours waiting time was frustrating considering only two people in que (as shown in the monitor). The discharge process on the other hand was so smooth and takes less than 30 minutes after my GL approved. ----------------- I have also been to another consultation for my pcos diagnosis but Dr. Mastura's explanation was not very satisfying at all. The tone was quite condescending and the explanation instilled worries and fear instead of promising solutions. My BP was quite high for a week until I got a proper explanation and consultation at another nearby clinic.

Admitted for persistent back pain under the care of Dr Shaharuddin. Stayed at The Suites (Ward 5), Room 519; the newly refurbished premier ward at KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital. The room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a TV, armchair with stool, and a long chaise lounge that was comfortable enough for an accompanying guardian. Storage space was also more than sufficient. Meal options were varied and plentiful, although there is room for improvement with more Western or non-rice alternatives for patients with different dietary preferences. Room service is available, but orders are placed manually at the Nurses’ Station, with payments currently limited to cash only. Introducing a QR-based system for ordering, tracking, and payment would greatly improve convenience, especially for patients without a caregiver present or easy access to cash. The nursing staff were consistently kind, attentive, and patient, responding promptly to every call and query with warmth and professionalism. A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful kakaks: Rahiyatul, Fadzillah, Umi, Syuhaida, Azween, Khairunnisa, Nurain, Rahina, Ainsah, Aliah, Aqisha, Abidatul, Aaqila, Isma, Shima, Umairah, Asma, Nisa, and Hasni. Thank you also to the porters, attendants, physiotherapists, radiographers and all hospital staff for your care and support throughout my stay.

MOST EXCELLENCE SERVICE.... This is what I want to share my latest experience in KPJ Shah Alam. I suffered Lumber problem and undergo my operation sometime October 24 and lead by outstanding Dr. Shaharuddin Ab. Rhani. Everything goes well and my recovery process goes well too. During this recovery process, I need to do the dressing, part of the treatment to ensure all wounds are heals.
