    Datuk Dr. Shankar Gunarasa is a distinguished Board Certified General Surgeon and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon with extensive international training in Vienna and Bangkok. He specializes in minimally invasive techniques for colorectal diseases, including perianal fistula, benign and malignant colon/rectal conditions, hernia, fecal incontinence, and rectal prolapse. His expertise also extends to acute and chronic surgical procedures, trauma, emergency cases, thyroid, breast conditions, and endoscopy. Dr. Gunarasa is dedicated to patient care and medical education, having served as an Honorary Lecturer for MSU and UiTM.

    Just want to thank Dr Rengsen, Dr Tan and another wonderful Dr for their wonderful service and help. Not to forget Dr Shanker for his prompt advice. God bless you all and of course the wonderful supporting staff and kakak nurses who were ever so kind. Thank you so much and I know thank you will never be enough.     The staff in the Paeds Department are truly the best, the service was very satisfactory, very helpful & very caring. Thank you very much to "Dr Shankar" who performed my child's operation very well. Also to "Dr Bius" (sorry I don't remember the name 😅) thank you very much. THANK YOU VERY MUCH PHAK😊😊
