This hospital which looks to me more like a hotel is simply hard to describe in words. I've heard several comments from friends like "Oh, that's such an expensive hospital, try to settle for a cheaper one, you can't afford it!" Despite several discouraging remarks for it being a pricey hospital, I still opt to visit them and seek ORTHOPAEDIC, MRI and PHYSIOTHERAPY services. Doctor Datu Hisam and his secretary are simply angels. I'm blessed to meet them even the physiotherapist and the nurse at the rehab clinic. Staff is simply superb, the facility is nothing but state of the art and advanced. Most importantly, they all have a heart and compassion for someone who's in dire need of medical assistance despite the lack of financial means. I'll be forever grateful to you all! ❤️🙏😇👆🙌👌

I recently underwent a microdiscectomy L5/S1 for my slipped disc at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity on 7 August 2025 under Dato’ Dr Mohd Hisam Muhamad Ariffin. From the moment I arrived until discharge, the care I received was nothing short of exceptional. Dr Hisam, my surgeon, is not only highly skilled but also compassionate and reassuring. He explained the procedure in detail and gave me full confidence that I was in the best hands. My heartfelt thanks also go to the anaesthesiology team, Dr Kanesh who kept me calm and comfortable before, during, and after surgery. Their professionalism and gentle approach made a huge difference to my experience. The operating theatre nurses and staff were outstanding — attentive, well-coordinated, and genuinely caring. The ward nurses and support staff were equally wonderful, ensuring my recovery was smooth, my pain was well-managed, and my comfort was always a priority. I am deeply grateful to the entire Sunway Medical Centre Velocity team for giving me such excellent care and helping me get back on my feet. You are all truly dedicated healthcare heroes. Thank you!

was admitted here for my scoliosis surgery by Dato' Dr Mohd Hisam. Surgery went really well and recovery process went well too. The nurses here are excellent and are ready to assist any time, especially post surgery where i needed lots of their attention. 10/10

Wonderful experience from emergency, spine procedure and after care. Prof Dato Dr Hisam was amazing, pre op advice made me feel calm, and specific advises to suit my work environment after op. Super friendly staff. Nurse at discharge (Noor Hafizah) was very efficient and made the process great. Discharge as promised before 12pm, they completed all by 11.40am. Amazing and highly recommended hospital, staff and impressive systems in place.
