Alhamdullillah, I wish to congratulate Dr. Nurul Azwa for successfully performing surgery on my spine and I have recovered much faster than expected. On 30th November 2023, I was diagnosed with Lumbar Spondylosis and Degenerative lumbar disc disease at KPJ Ampang Puteri. I was advised by Dr Nurul Azwa to perform the endoscopic spinal surgery soonest possible as I had complained about frequent numbness and pain in my feet. Dr Azwa further explained that he needed to implant 6 titanium screws on my spine after close observation of my MRI report. Initially, I was hesitant and had sleepless nights considering the risks involved. However, after much thought, prayers and discussion with my family members, I decided to go ahead with the surgery. Therefore, on 13th December 2023, Dr Nurul Azwa performed the fusion spinal surgery on me. Alhamdulillah, the surgery was successful and I was put on morphine drip for 2 days as the pain was unbearable. Alhamdulillah. MasyaAllah Tabarakallah. Today, (i.e. on 3rd April 2024), I am relieved and happy that my recovery was earlier than I expected. Within 4 months, coupled with rehabilitation physiotherapy, I am able to do away with my walking stick and manage to walk up the stairs as well as can perform my daily prayers (i.e. rukuk & sujud properly). But, first and foremost, I can pursue my passion of baking my favourite cakes and cookies. Once again, I would like to thank a million times to my amazing doctor, Dr. Nurul Azwa. I am glad that I have chosen the right doctor. He is truly the best fusion spinal surgeon in town, if not the best in the country. Thumbs up to you and your team.
