My mom had bloated stomach for 2 weeks which we were led to believe that it was gastrointestinal related issue via multiple visits to our neighborhood clinic. Not until we have decided to consult Asst Prof Dr Hoo (internal medicine, neurology) who are able to help us to identify the real cause (ascites caused by abnormal mass near ovary) via ultrasound followed by CT scan within 48 hrs (we went to the hospital on Saturday). We were immediately referred to Gyne-Oncologist Dr Khoo at the same hospital to proceed with next course of action (review below). Thanks Dr Hoo for the fast turnaround time on patient's diagnosis, this has saved us valuable time in making crucial decisions and to take next course of action. Eventually my mom had performed Laparotomy hysterectomy, removal of both ovarian tumour and fallopian tubes, omentectomy and tumour debunking at Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil. Our primary care Doctor is Dr Khoo Boom Ping (Obestetrics & Gynecology, Gyne-Oncologist), the surgery conducted by Dr Khoo and his team went smoothly and successful, my mom was able to recover within expected time frame under the careful planning and execution by Dr Khoo. Upon completion of surgery, my mom was admitted to WDU for the first 2 days, the nurses are very caring and attentive in making sure that my mom is always under a stable condition 24/7 - thanks to Pavita, Emelda, Rachel. Subsequently my mom was transferred to the general ward for continued monitoring and recovery. Again, high compliments to the nursing staff who took really good care of my mom day and night. Special shout out to Izzah, Hamiza, Hana they are all very kind, attentive and hardworking, one can observed that this is a standard they have maintained across the board. It has been a very good experience overall and my mom is very happy for the care she had received and the professional management of her case. High compliments to the team at Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil, also taking this opportunity to thank Dr Khoo and his team (pre ops and post ops) which included Dr Thiagu (radiology), Dr Gayethri (internal medicine), Dr Affiq (Anesthesiology), Dr Ruhi Fadzlyana (General Surgery & Colorectal Surgery) and all nursing staff involved to ensure my mom's recovery. We will continue to consult Dr Khoo on our next phase of treatment. Not forget to mention, as a self-paying customer, we had also received a senior citizen discount in kind for my mom's bill arranged via finance manager Miss Ruz Diana. It's a kind effort by the top management and the hospital and we appreciate this. I sincerely hope that the top management will look at our review and feel proud of this great team at CAH Bukit Jalil. If there is anything we wish that the hospital could improve - that would be the meal choices as my mom is a vegetarian, we hope that there can be more variety and choices for vegetarian/vegan patients in the future. "I recently admitted in Columbia Bukit Jalil Hospital on 5 Dec 2025, due to a sudden asthmatic attack and was impressed by the prompt treatment and excellent service. I'd like to express my gratitude to the staff, particularly Mr. Abraham, the male nurse, for his kindness and care from the emergency room to the ward. Dr. Rohini and Dr. Gayetri provided timely and gentle care, explaining my condition and treatment clearly. Dr. Yogesvaran, the ENT specialist, treated my ears with expertise and minimal discomfort. Not to forget as well Dr Thiagu from Radiology as well, was a very kind and humble Dr. I was at wad 515 B, I could not remember all the nurses name actually, but all was so good and caring nurse. They help me till the end of my stay over there and I feel so comfortable with all the nurses from wad 5th floor. I'm also grateful to my AIA client, Mr Sasi, finance assistant@cafe who showed his support and concern by bringing me breakfast from his cafe. During my discharge from wad process, Ms Sue from finance also too good and cute person till she manage to expedite the process even more faster then expected earlier. Finally Mr Aiman from the farmasi also did a great job and he was very good in giving the explanation on the medication. Overall I would say 10/10 . I highly recommend Columbia Bukit Jalil Hospital for their exceptional care and service. The staff's kindness and professionalism made a wonderful experience and more meaningful."

Nurse, facility & services: 5 ⭐ Food: certain meals can be too salty. 4 ⭐ Admissions & discharge in respect of insurance claim: very slow. I had to wait 6 hours before being given a bed. Discharge process takes time too or maybe the doctor was trying to rip off my insurance because i was hold for another day despite me being very clear i wanted to be discharged the day before. 3 ⭐ Asyraf from Radiology: very kind, gentle & considerate. He's so respectful to me throughout his service. 5 ⭐ Amirrul from Rehabilitation: the best physio experience ever. He explains & shares so many things to me. I gain a lot of useful knowledge from him. He also encourage me to do take-home exercise every day. Please raise his salary 👏🏻 1000⭐ Dr Malini from Sports Medicine: she assessed my condition gently and thoroughly and then proceed to explaining the whole situation VERY CLEARLY. I appreciate her using simple terms & not overwhelmed us by jargons. Love that! 5 ⭐ Dr Muru from Orthopedic: he was kind in the beginning & explain my condition nicely. But when he hold me for another day in the ward with an excuse that it's already night for discharge process, I felt something is not right. After he told me the cost of operations i said the amount has exceeded my insurance coverage & i would need to go to other hospital within my means. Dr Muru tried to help by getting in touch with his friend in HKL & according to Dr Muru's nurse i will have a surgery within 10 days and I have to wait for HKL nurse to call me. 5 days after that i still haven't received any call from HKL nurse so I got in touch with Dr Muru's clinic. The nurse said she'll ask Dr Muru about it. Days went by without any update nor phone calls. Until Friday i kept calling Dr Muru and HKL trying to confirm the said arrangement but to no avail. In the end, i finally got to call Dr Muru on Friday 4pm. He admitted that he got all the messages & queries from his nurse and PROCEED TO SCOLD ME. i was extremely shocked by this bcs this attitude is the total opposite of Dr Muru i met the week before. He raised his voice and repeatedly say he cannot arrange everything for me & there's nothing else he can do. I was so dumbfounded by this bcs HAD HE OR HIS CLINIC CALLED ME 3 days earlier, I would have tried other ways to get the treatment. But NOBODY CALLED ME TO SAY SO. Now all I'm getting is scorn by Dr Muru & still in pain. So, no thank you for Dr Muru's service..avoid him at all cost. He is dishonest with his words 👎🏻 0 ⭐

Today I came to Radiology for an Ultrasound. Ms. Husna and Dr. Thiagu were very friendly. I wasn't scared at all. It was comfortable throughout the ultrasound process. Thank you, Dr. Thiagu, for performing the ultrasound for me.

I was warded recently for knee issues. I was consulted by Dr. Murugeaswaran. We proceeded with all the necessary and suggested test before proceeding with the actual treatment. Dr. Thiagu, Dr. Nagappan, Dr. Mohd Afiq and the MO in the emergency ward were all instrumental towards my well being. I would also like to thank all the nurses as well. It is a fairly new hospital that is slowly establishing itself in the vincinity of Bukit Jalil. For improvement, I would suggest mirroring other hospitals by having QR code to preorder meals and have more choices. Hope the eatery place will expand as well with more selections. On the consultant directory which is on first floor of the admission, perhaps you could slow down a little for patrons to look at all the consultants. Every 8 seconds or so, the screen changes and it might be too fast for folks to look at all the consultants. Overall a good experience.
