I had an excellent experience with Dr Mohd Shaharil. He is highly professional, patient, and takes the time to explain things clearly during consultations. I felt very reassured and well taken care of throughout my visits. A special thanks to his nurse Pn Hani, who was extremely helpful, friendly, and efficient in coordinating everything during my appointments. Also I had a wonderful experience during my admission at Jasmine Ward. The nurses were incredibly professional, attentive, and compassionate throughout my stay. I would like to thank Dr Shaharil and Nurse Hani for being communicative and helpful, they would even reply me via WhatsApp via clinic number if i had any questions for my healing process. I do believe that post surgery patient care is very important in addition to a successful surgery. I hope you continue to be the way you are with all your patients and they will feel this positive two way communication as well. The surgery was explained, to preoperatively prepare me, and to postoperatively ensure me what had already been done on me. I would also like to emphasize a successful arthroscopic surgery on my left knee due to a badminton injury. The operating time was less than 2 hours after anesthesia, a quick, but not so simple procedure due to the lateral meniscus tear. Dr Shaharil will follow-up bed side and ask how I'm doing throughout my 3 day hospital stay, and even answered any questions my family had, which instilled confidence in my family that my surgeon knew his stuff and he is good at what he does. Upon discharge from the hospital, it left only a mild healing discomfort and a small scar. This really reduces my negative perception on experiencing surgery, IF I had to do it again, I would pick Dr Shaharil and team. Thanks for the overall experience Dr 😇 After that, it will be based on the exercises given by the physio team and how well the individual complies (big thanks to Mr.Nasir, Mr. Shaun, Miss Farah for continually helping me with physio). Pain and swelling is to be expected depending how one exerts on the knee. All part of the healing process. A mention to Dr Sharedah as the anesthesiologist ; very friendly, talks and jokes with me before the operation started, i felt happy someone was there to cheer me up before going through my first surgery.
