This is our first child hence we ensure to choose the best possible obstetrician. Dr Imelda is way beyond amazing and excellent in all aspects. She is always so patient to ensure we understand everything and her professional advise never goes wrong. Afiqah, her clinic assistant is always helpful and ready to assist us along the way. My delivery was quite a scary one with baby almost went into foetal distress then complicated with shoulder dystocia. Dr Imelda was so calm throughout the process, I was able to deliver via SVD and the McRobert was so smooth and quick. Both me and baby are well, my episiotomy wound healed well and wasn't painful at all. Many thanks to Dr Imelda and Afiqah for ensuring our baby boy borned healthy. After confirming pregnancy last year, we immediately decided to have check-ups with Dr. Imelda because we wanted the best gynecologist to care for this pregnancy and avoid any birth trauma. We initially decided on a normal delivery, but during the final check-up, due to a few risks, the doctor decided on a Cesarean section at 37 weeks. Mommy was already worried because she had previously undergone surgery for an endometriotic cyst, which was very painful even though it was a minimally invasive procedure. This time, a Cesarean section was even more daunting. But surprisingly, labor with Dr. Imelda was not painful, everyone. The morning after, after the catheter was removed, I could walk normally, go for a shower, and even walk to the nursery to see the baby. The food here is also all delicious. Alhamdulillah 🥰

Choosing Dr Imelda as my O&G was the best decision ever. Her reputation does precedes her. She was gentle, and made sure everything is perfectly fine with the baby and me. Delivering the baby was made easy, and one of the reason is her. She made me feel confident in delivering the baby, and the experience was truly unforgettable. And not to forget, her amazing clinic staffs, especially Afiqah and Azrene, as well as the midwives and nurses who took care of me during my delivery and stay in the ward, thank you so much for being kind and gentle. Assalamualaikum wbt & Hello. 8.8.2024, praise be to God, I have given birth to my fourth son at DSH2. For your information, my first child was born at KPJ Ampang Puteri, my second and third at KPJ Bandar Maharani, and for my fourth child, I also chose KPJ (DSH2). DSH2 provided a beautiful experience for me, I felt like I was being treated in a palace, with scents from the lobby to the room, a fragrance that is always remembered and found nowhere else. The staff nurses and others were very friendly, always greeting and accommodating the whims of a pregnant mother asking for butter cookies dipped in Milo every day, it was very delicious even though it was just that 😋. The main meals served were just like a hotel, and the cooking was like that of a famous chef. The renowned O&G doctor, Prof Dr Imelda Balchin, is very competent and excellent from the first prenatal appointment until delivery with her. It is still fresh in my memory when I came to the clinic for an appointment, she called the name of the baby in the womb (AAIDEN FARHAAT, come in) not the mother's name 😂, such a good memory. The experience of giving birth with her will be kept safely in my memory, and I am her loyal follower on social media. For your information, I have been following the "no postpartum restrictions" diet since my second child until now, and praise be to God, my health is very good, and my caesarean wound healed quickly. On the first day after surgery, the next day I could get up early in the morning to prepare myself without anyone's help and walk around the lobby of the 8th-floor ward. On the second day, I was able to sit cross-legged without pain or any complications. My stitches are very neat and meticulous. All four of my children were born via C-section, and this was my fourth surgery, and praise be to God. God willing, if I have the chance to give birth to a fifth child, I will definitely look for her if it is destined ❤️. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Suziana, her demeanor is like an older sister, her speech is gentle, and I felt very comfortable being with her. When I was anesthetized, I swear I didn't feel any pain, I felt very calm, and she kindly accommodated my itchy face by helping to scratch it during the surgery (a side effect of the epidural). Thank you, Dr. Suzi ❤️. Besides that, the Pediatrician, Dr. Shalini, is very friendly in her communication. While lying in the operating room, I didn't notice her face clearly, she just greeted me briefly and introduced herself, but at that time, I was nervous, so I didn't really notice her face. The first time I made eye contact was when Dr. Shalini came to the ward, explaining that Aaiden Farhaat was doing well, and praise be to God, his condition is stable. Seeing Dr. Shalini, wow, her face is like Katrina Kaif, okay. Very beautiful. When I was pregnant, I liked watching Hindi movies 😂. Dr. Shalini also always asked about Aaiden's well-being via WhatsApp regarding his condition. I managed to update her about his jaundice and so on. Thank you very much, doctor. Before going home, I was given a Polaroid picture, a baby footprint stamp, and a souvenir set. Very beautiful. First time mum, gave birth on 12/09/24, via c-section after not progressing during labour. Was admitted a total of 4D 3N. Dr Liew was professional, calm and composed throughout the induction process and made us feel comfortable and safe every step of the way with the assistance of the midwives who were kind and gentle. Dr Liew and the rest of the team at the Preterm Prevention Clinic (Dr Imelda & Dr Haliza) were amazing during my pregnancy. I had a shirodkar cerclage put in (2D 1N) at 14 weeks gestation and that procedure was done quickly and comfortably. Even my anaesthesiologist Dr Zuraini did an amazing job- no pain, and she helped keep me calm and happy in the OR (got her during my c-section as well!). Could not recommend and thank them enough for helping us bring our baby girl into the world. Especially after having a 2nd trimester loss last year, they know exactly how to treat their patients and ensure a safe, happy pregnancy and delivery. Would also like to say thank you to the nurses at the Nursery who took care of my daughter extremely well when she had to have phototherapy due to jaundice.
