I just want to post an appreciation post to Dr Alex Tang Ah Lak who’s one of the most dedicated doctor that anyone can get. He treated my dad more than 10 years ago and has made an impact to us even after all these years. SJMC is truly blessed to have a gem of a doctor like him cos he’s definitely an asset to your hospital. Just wanna thank him for everything that he has done for us during the difficult times.

Great job to Dr Liew Ngoh Chin and Dr Alex Tang Ah Lak. Now we heading home with quality of life and relief.Both of you really have a healing hand that save life. Thanks, from Tan KH & family.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Yap and Elaine Low - Cancer Care Coordinator for their exceptional care of my 89-year-old father, who is in the advanced stage of colon cancer. Dr. Yap, with his extensive experience, did not insist on chemotherapy or targeted therapy, understanding that such treatments might affect the quality of life in his remaining days. We understand the side effects of chemotherapy and are prepared to consider it should the cancer progress further. We are thankful for Dr. Yap's thorough professional guidance in this regard, and for his clear and comprehensive communication with the patient and family before considering any chemotherapy options. This approach not only reflects their professional integrity, but also their commitment to patient-centered care, prioritizing my father's dignity and comfort over potential financial gains for the hospital. We are also deeply appreciative of Elaine Low, whose support has helped our family navigate this difficult time. Her assistance has been invaluable in managing the emotional and practical challenges we have faced. Additionally, I am extremely grateful to Dr. Alex, who performed local electrical therapy on my father's lungs and liver. This treatment has significantly improved my father's quality of life. Dr. Alex's expertise and dedication have made a tremendous difference in his well-being. I highly recommend Dr. Yap and Dr. Alex for their compassionate and thoughtful approach to patient care.

SJMC is a hospital filled with good doctors and nursing staffs. Special thanks to Dr. Kenny, Dr. Alex and Dr. Ronald who treated me with patience and care! This is definitely one of the best hospitals in town. Thumbs up to the team!
