My husband, Lim Chee Chong was admitted to CVSKL in june, 2022 for an irregular heartbeat, arrhythmia. His diagnosis is a rare one and he was hospitalised for 18days at Cvskl. He suffered 3 cardiac arrests and the entire medical team saved him. I wish to extend my utmost gratitude to Dr.Zulkeflee Muhammad, an electrophysiologist cum cardiologist for his credentials & outstanding expertise. He is also such a kind, patient, soft spoken, passionate & never failed to stay focused on my husband for all his treatment at Cvskl thus far. Frankly, based on my observation, i must say the beauty of CVSKL is most of the doctors here practised good team work. I would also like to thank Datuk Dr. Razali for his dedication and compassion towards my husband especially during and after each procedures at CVSKL. Many thanks to Dr.Choo, Dr.Goh, Datuk Dr.Hamdan & Datuk Dr.Tamil for all their never ending kind concern towards my husband every time we are at Cvskl for any follow up appointments with Dr.Zulkeflee or any procedures at radiology centre. And special thanks to Dr.Zulkeflee Muhammad's PA, cik Maira who is always there to ensure that all my husband's appointments at CVSKL are well organised and promptly informed too incase of any changes of appointments. Knowing that my husband is physically unfit(OKU), She will always make sure my husband received the best comfort during any follow up appointments or procedures at Cvskl . By the way, i would like to thank Ms.Amelyn, a technician from medtronic for her professional service and care towards my husband during every icd check up at CVSKL. Lastly, kudos to Encik Hasan, Encik Shahid & Encik Faris, all 3 from customer service for their excellent approach. On Sunday, my dad was admitted with suspected chest discomfort and was promptly attended to in the Emergency ward. From the very beginning, Dr. Choo demonstrated a level of patience and empathy that immediately put our family at ease. His down-to-earth demeanor and ability to communicate complex medical information in plain language ensured that both my dad and our family fully understood the situation. The following day, Monday, Dr. Choo conducted an angiogram procedure to assess my dad's condition. Despite the anxiety surrounding the situation, Dr. Choo's professionalism and expertise shone through. Following the procedure, he took the time to provide us with a thorough explanation of the findings and, importantly, reassured us that an angioplasty procedure was not warranted. The transparency and clarity with which Dr. Choo communicated throughout this process were invaluable. It not only alleviated our concerns but also fostered a sense of trust in the medical care being provided. I had a very good experience with CVS KL, especially with Dr Choo Gim Hooi and the clinic assistant, Sharon, during my angioplasty. Sharon went above and beyond to help arrange my appointments and prepare all the necessary documents, which really helped speed up the process. Her care and personal touch went far beyond what I would normally expect from a clinic assistant. She was genuinely helpful, attentive and caring throughout the process. As for Dr Choo, I am truly grateful to him. He took the time to carefully review my case, explain and advise me, and genuinely cared about my wellbeing both before and after the procedure. He is patient, listens to his patients and makes you feel comfortable and confident. Going through an angioplasty can be frightening, but having a doctor who truly cares makes such a difference. My husband and I have been coming to Dr. Choo Gim’s clinic for years now, and cannot but highly recommend him. We find him both affable (you never feel rushed there) and brilliant — the latter with regard to the ease with which he figures out ‘whatever is ailing’ one or the other of us. Upon arrival at CVS, and after the (usually speedy) registration process, we head to his office where the efficient and ever-so-friendly Lina oversees the next steps. Lina (and her staff) are quick to assist with any questions, and once back home, their ‘whatsapp’ responses are also timely. Cannot recommend this team and doctor more highly!
