Thanking Dr. Mahen (orthopedic surgeon) , Dr. Selvan (General surgeon) , Dr. George (urologist) My brother was involved in a serious road accident in March and sustained an open-book pelvic fracture with a bladder injury. After his initial treatment at the government hospital, we were uncertain where to transfer him for definitive care. We made the decision to admit him to Pantai Hospital Ipoh under the care of Dr. Mahen, Orthopaedic Surgeon, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Dr. Mahen accepted the case without delay, and surgery was performed within just a few hours of admission. Throughout this incredibly difficult journey, despite the severe pain and challenges my brother endured, we had complete confidence that he was in the best possible hands. Their professionalism, kindness, and reassurance gave our family immense comfort during one of the most stressful times of our lives. Today, just three months later, my brother is walking independently without any walking aid—a recovery we are truly thankful for.
