I recently visited Oriental Hospital with my son, who required medical attention on 15 Dec 2023. Our experience, particularly with Paediatrician Dr. Long Yew Giin, was exemplary. Dr. Long's professionalism was evident from the outset. His thorough diagnosis and detailed explanation of the admission processes reassured us and clarified any concerns we had. Dr. Long's dedication was apparent as he made daily rounds, ensuring attentive care and monitoring my son's progress. His calm and composed demeanor while administering the IV instilled confidence, and the procedure was performed seamlessly, without any need for repetition which was a relief to my 7yr old son. The nurses at Ward 8B were a testament to the hospital's commitment to excellence. Their professionalism and amicable nature were commendable. They not only demonstrated expertise in their roles but also catered to our needs with utmost care and empathy. We were quite pleasantly surprised that the quality of the food provided was up to standard. My son, being a picky eater, enjoyed the meals served. Despite the ward's occupancy, the serene environment and minimal noise contributed to a calming atmosphere conducive to healing.
