I recently underwent shoulder surgery and was admitted from 1st April to 5th April 2026. The hospital I went to is part of their newer wing, where they are gradually moving most of their main operations. A big thank you to Dr. Azfar and the entire team of professional and caring nurses and administration at Columbia Asia Cheras. I truly appreciate the attention and care I received throughout my stay. From the moment I was admitted, everything went very smoothly. The room was spacious, especially for a single (premium) room and very comfortable. Even my relatives and friends who came to visit commented on how roomy it was. It also came with a sofa bed (single), which made a big difference since my wife stayed with me the entire time to assist. Having a proper place for her to rest really meant a lot. The food service was also pleasantly surprising. There is a good selection of meals that you can pre-order if you place your order before the cut off time, otherwise, a standard meal will be provided. Even though the meals are prepared with reduced salt and sugar, which is expected during recovery, the food still tasted good and was enjoyable. Else you can easily order through Grab. Parking was another plus point. There were ample parking spaces available, and I was able to park right in front of the hospital. The building layout also making it very convenient to access certain area, the ward and to move in and out easily. I’ve had some experience with hospitals in developed country as my son was treated for a broken arm in Switzerland during a trip, and I can honestly say I’m proud that our local hospital is able to provide such excellent care, if not even better.

Ward MD5 113 SN Ika, PCA Hanisah, PCA Fatin & team deserves special recognition for their attentiveness, kindness, and consistent support during my post-op care, including Physiotherapist Sara and team. Their care truly made a difference in my overall experience. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the food provided — it was both enjoyable and comforting. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would highly recommend this hospital for their professionalism and patient-centered care.
