Professor Emeritus Dato' Dr Yip Cheng Har is a pioneering Consultant Breast Surgeon with over four decades of experience, renowned for her groundbreaking work in breast cancer treatment and surgical leadership. As the first woman lecturer in Surgery at UMMC and the first woman President of the College of Surgeons of Malaysia and Breast Surgery International, she has shattered glass ceilings. Dr. Yip established one of Malaysia's first breast clinics, offering comprehensive care including chemotherapy and palliative support. Her extensive research has resulted in over 250 publications, and she has secured significant grants, including a RM15 million award. Awarded honorary fellowships from the American College of Surgeons and the American Surgical Association, she is a global advocate for equitable, compassionate, and patient-centered breast cancer care.

Went to Picasso Hospital for my annual check up today with Prof Emeritus Dato Dr Yip Cheng Har. Was warmly greeted by friendly counter staff and also the Imaging Staff. Don’t have the White Collar syndrome (hospital fear) as the deco of the Breast Centre is so soothing with matching colours of pink and beige. Special thanks to Ms Kalpana (Breast Imaging), Ms Meesha (Clinic Staff) and Che Siti (Clinic staff) who are all so attentive and friendly. Please maintain the good service and goodwill.

The hospital is very new and clean, the staffs and doctor are very friendly. I came here to visit Dato Dr Yip Cheng Har. She moved from SJMC to Picaso Hospital. Now the imaging like ultrasound and mammogram can be done just next to her clinic room. Unlike SJMC have to go to the other building and line up for long queue. The process at Picaso Hospital is very fast and smooth. Currently they are having some promotion for mammogram and ultrasound. Cheaper than SJMC. Dato Dr Yip Cheng Har is a very professional and friendly breast surgery doctor. Due to hospital is quite new, currently it provides free parking for patients.

Having my Mom Routine Check Up With the best Doctor For Breast Cancer Surgery. Dr. Ng Char Hong. He is the best doctor ever and very helpful. And in this new hospital, all the nurse are so friendly and helpful. Hospital is new, and very clean and comfy. Keep on Good Work.

My visits here have been very good so far. The doctors, especially Prof. Yip, are highly patient-oriented, and Dr. Mastura has been exceptionally patient in explaining, answering our questions, and being accommodating during treatment planning. Thanks to Annie too! The nurses and staffs at the Oncology and Radiology departments are also approachable, attentive, and helpful. Special thanks to Lawrence, Jasmine, Erin and Yuxuan. Parking is free for patients, which is very convenient. The facilities are new, and the environment is comfortable too.
