I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Alpha IVF and especially Dr. Lam Wei Kian, who supported me through both of my pregnancies, from antenatal check-ups all the way to my Caesarean deliveries. Both of my pregnancies were conceived naturally. However, the reason we chose to have my check-ups and deliveries at Alpha was due to my personal medical background. I am considered an advanced-age mother, and during my first pregnancy, I experienced a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. That experience left a deep emotional impact on both my husband and me. When I became pregnant again, our only wish was to find a doctor we could truly trust, someone who could guide us safely through the pregnancy and help us welcome our baby with peace of mind. In many general clinics, most pregnant women are in their twenties. When I went for check-ups at the age of 36, it was common to hear doctors say, “You are an advanced-age mother.” While this may be medically accurate, hearing those words repeatedly during pregnancy can create unnecessary stress and anxiety about all the possible risks. What I will always remember is what Dr. Lam said to me when I mentioned that I was an advanced-age mother. He calmly replied, “36 years old? That’s actually okay. It’s not considered very old.” That simple sentence brought me so much reassurance. It reminded me that at Alpha, doctors regularly care for women of advanced maternal age, including those who have struggled with infertility for many years. In comparison, my case was not unusual to them — and that gave me immense confidence throughout my entire pregnancy. Because of this trust, I felt completely at ease placing myself in the hands of Alpha and Dr. Lam. Today, five years later, I am writing this review on day 7 after my second Caesarean section, once again delivered safely by Dr. Lam. Thank you, Alpha IVF, and thank you, Dr. Lam Wei Kian, for your professionalism, reassurance, and care. Grateful to have met Dr. Lam Wei Kian at Alpha IVF. I remember my first visit was just to get a second opinion, as I had consulted another clinic before Alpha IVF and was rejected due to my advanced maternal age. However, after Dr. Lam at Alpha understood my situation, he immediately told me that I had a chance to conceive. I was very happy at that moment and followed the doctor's guidance step by step: taking medication, injections, and all the necessary preparations. I am very grateful to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Alpha. I successfully conceived on my second attempt. I am also very grateful to Dr. Lam for delivering my baby girl.

After waiting 9 years to have a child, we finally succeeded in having a boy and a girl at Alpha IVF. Our children are now 5 years old. We haven't forgotten to return to Alpha IVF to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Collin, Dr. Tan, Dr. Lam, and the amazing Alpha IVF nursing team. I apologize that I can only remember a few names like Evelyn and Sumanjit. Thank you very much. It was a very memorable experience. Although we were not successful on our first attempt, we finally succeeded on our second embryo transfer.
