I had a very difficult journey after a fall on 9th February, where I initially underwent screw fixation at another hospital. Unfortunately, the screws became displaced, and I was referred elsewhere for a total hip replacement scheduled much later. I was discharged without proper pain management, and despite being from a medical background and trying to cope, my pain remained at 7 to 10/10. By mid March, it became unbearable. I couldn’t sleep, lie flat, or function. That’s when I reached out to Sunway Medical Centre. From the very first call, Dharrishine was incredibly helpful and efficient, arranging an appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Jaya Raj the very next day. Upon arrival, the team prioritised my condition and expedited my consultation. Dr. Jeffrey Jaya Raj was exceptional. He explained my condition, the failed fixation, and the need for total hip replacement in a very clear and detailed manner. He took time to go through risks, benefits, and expectations without rushing, which gave me full confidence and trust. Most importantly, he recognised the urgency of my condition and arranged for an emergency operation. Post operatively, his care was just as outstanding. He closely monitored my recovery, was attentive to details, and showed genuine concern for my progress. His professionalism, expertise, and compassion truly make him one of the best. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Law Yen Chuang, was equally amazing. She was very calm, reassuring, and attentive making sure I was comfortable before the operation, which helped ease my anxiety significantly. Her post operative care was also excellent. The nursing teams in Ward 4A and Ward 5A were fantastic, attentive, responsive, and genuinely caring. They ensured my pain was managed, assisted me promptly, and provided constant reassurance throughout my stay. The physiotherapy team also played a huge role in my recovery. They were patient, encouraging, and guided me step by step to regain mobility safely while building my confidence. I am truly grateful for the care I received. The entire team showed professionalism, compassion, and dedication. I highly recommend Sunway Medical Centre. You can truly trust them with your care.

Been seeing doctors and nurses since surgery last year, they've all been a huge help to help me get through my illness and surgery. Thanks to my doctors Dr.Margaret, Dr.Teoh, Dr.Jeffrey & Dr.Jennifer, without them I wouldn't be able to write this review. Thanks to all the nurses from CCU, A&E and normal ward, they took good care of me during my admission. Special thanks to Yong, Kak Ika, Kak Su, Kak Siti, Ain and other nurses at Tower A 5th floor for their constant kindness and support. The doctors and nurses encouraged me alot and gave many information for me and my husband to deal with after treatment & surgery care. I can't say I'd love to go back to the hospital 😅 But SunMed would definitely be my first choice.
