Treated my lymphoma by Dr. Tengku, professionally handled all consultation and treatments session with clear information relayed of what I would be expecting from this journey. The other great thing about Dr. Tengku is that he is reachable for inquiry via Whatsapp. Something most doctors don't practice with their patients. Overall, I have recovered from DLBCL and enjoying a life back as a normal person. Would definitely recommend Dr. Tengku to anyone if I come to know to be in need of a good Haematologist.

It was an unfortunate news to me. Since March 2021 I found myself having sore throat and visited clinics at my area, given antibiotics but the problem unsolved. I also went to Selayang Hospital, the specialist suspected nose cancer which really make me worries. My situation become serious when comes to April, I hardly to breathe and eat. I was send to ICU of Beacon Hospital, was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. Dr Tengku, my doctor in charge is a very friendly doctor. He explained the syndrome and also the cost required for the treatment. Unfortunately, I just terminated my medical insurance, but I was lucky enough that my company did cover the insurance for me. I'm now done my chemography treatment for 5/6. My personal experience with Beacon Hospital is very satisfied. The nurses and staffs very friendly and helpful. They strictly practice the SOP during MCO, where PCR test is a must for hospitalized. The meals provided are healthy and delicious. If you're a Christian, you can pray with some of the staffs. When there's an issue with my insurance claim, Beacon Hospital able to discuss and negotiate the best payment method so I can continue my treatments without worries too much.

i took my mother to Beacon Cancer Hospital in 2020 after exhausting all my options with other hospitals who were honestly very BIG and over-rated. My mother was under the treatment of Dr. Tengku and being treated for Multiple Myeloma. I got confused initially as my family were skeptical about the hospital. But, as the time progressed, i realized that this hospital was more patient and disease focused rather on getting their pockets full. in my last 1.5 years at any given point i didnt felt that the hospital ever forced me into anything rather shared/addressed all my concerns and did accommodated my family inputs on multiple occasions. Later as the disease progressed, my mother was jointly handled by Pellative team headed by Dr. Felicia. She is one of nicest persons i have ever met and her whole team are professionals who not only managed the progression symptoms but also covered the home visits and looked after my mother as their own. My mother recently passed away peacefully but the team of Dr. Tengku and Dr. Felicia saved her life on multiple occasions in the last many months when she went into critical stage including Covid. Although i have lost one of my greatest possessions in my life but looking back at hospital days spent with beacon i have realized one of the qualities which makes Beacon Hospital different from others..."Its the personalized human touch". They not only share your pain and grief but everyone over there is always ready to support you in any possible way they can" You are not looked as a debit/credit card or a source of revenue but a living soul seeking their professional guidance. I may have spent over 200 K approx. over the course of the treatment covering multiple hospitalizations with countless blood transfusions, emergency, ICU, Tests, Medicines and Home Visits, but this cost as compared with other BIG hospitals was 100% lesser while the quality of treatment and medicines being administered remained above par with the other leading hospitals in KL. Lastly my respect to the Pellative team for taking care of my mother in her last days and supporting her round the clock for pain management and made her comfortable and in peace.

It's truly a blessing as i have been at this reputable hospital since 2019. Very fast being diagnosed and since then the journey of the treatment is so proactive.
