The doctors whom I saw were patient and explained clearly and in detail of my conditions. My questions were answered in an unhurried manner. Falling ill in a foreign land can be a traumatic experience for any traveller. When my wife's health took an unforseen turn, we were advised to seek treatment at Pantai hospital. It turned out to be the best decision we could ever take. From the ER to the CCU, to the ward, the hospital team of consultants and nursing staff were absolutely wonderful! A big thank you to Dato Dr. Rajbans Singh for his expert handling of my wife's case, Dr. Shamala, Dr. Don and all the nurses who always wore a smile even at the end of their shift, whether it be night or day. My mother was recently admitted to Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a pulmonary embolism and we are grateful for the care she received overall. From the moment we arrived at the Emergency Department, the doctors and staff acted promptly and professionally. Special thanks to Dato Dr. Rajbans Singh, whose expertise and reassuring manner gave us confidence during a very stressful time. The Emergency team provided excellent immediate care and ensured a smooth transfer to CMU, where the nurses were attentive, compassionate, and very dedicated. Their constant monitoring and support made a huge difference to my mother’s recovery and gave us peace of mind. However, when my mother was later shifted to the B3 ward, we noticed a significant drop in attentiveness. Some of the nurses seemed to be dodging responsibilities, and overall the care did not meet the same standard we experienced earlier in her stay. This was disappointing, especially after such a positive experience in Emergency and CMU. We truly appreciate the outstanding doctors and the CMU team for their dedication and professionalism. At the same time, we hope that management will look into the service quality at the B3 ward to ensure consistency across the hospital.
