An open letter to the Management of Regen Rehab Hospital Date: 1 July 2025 Subject: Sincere Appreciation for Excellent Care and Service I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and service provided by Regen Rehab Hospital during my sister’s recent stay. On 27 May 2025, upon the kind advice of Dato' Dr. Rajbans Singh—a caring, friendly, remarkable and outstanding geriatrician who has been my sister’s specialist since 2023—I brought my sister, who had suffered a stroke, to your hospital for rehabilitation. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Miss Katherine Ng, whose helpfulness and pleasant demeanor immediately put us at ease. She kindly assisted us in meeting Mr. Siang, a courteous and friendly senior manager, who patiently explained the hospital’s services and charges in detail. This initial support was invaluable. Throughout my sister’s stay, I was consistently impressed by the professionalism, dedication, and kindness of all hospital staff—ranging from the security guard, and cashier to the nurses and therapists. Each person played a meaningful role in my sister’s recovery, and I am truly grateful for their compassionate care. I would like to extend special thanks to Miss Katherine Ng, who, upon my request, promptly arranged for the removal of a medical device attached to my sister’s arm—a task that should have been completed prior to her discharge by another hospital. Her swift and thoughtful action exemplifies the commitment to patient care that your hospital upholds. My sincere appreciation also goes to Mr. Siang, who remained consistently supportive throughout my sister’s stay. His attentiveness and encouragement made a lasting positive impact on both my sister and our family. Dato Dr Rajban had been amazing in providing great and precise advice on how each supplements can help improve my dad condition base on the medication he has been taking. Ms. Jee, my dad physiotherapist has been very caring and professional in managing my Dad special care despite my Dad having his difficult and rare condition which many had trouble handling him. We had a very interesting and interactive topic- Dementia or Forgetfulness. The two Doctors where very explicite in their explanations and they also answered a lot of questions coming from the participatants. Thank you Doctor Rajbans and the entire team.

My mother was recently admitted to Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a pulmonary embolism and we are grateful for the care she received overall. From the moment we arrived at the Emergency Department, the doctors and staff acted promptly and professionally. Special thanks to Dato Dr. Rajbans Singh, whose expertise and reassuring manner gave us confidence during a very stressful time. The Emergency team provided excellent immediate care and ensured a smooth transfer to CMU, where the nurses were attentive, compassionate, and very dedicated. Their constant monitoring and support made a huge difference to my mother’s recovery and gave us peace of mind. However, when my mother was later shifted to the B3 ward, we noticed a significant drop in attentiveness. Some of the nurses seemed to be dodging responsibilities, and overall the care did not meet the same standard we experienced earlier in her stay. This was disappointing, especially after such a positive experience in Emergency and CMU. We truly appreciate the outstanding doctors and the CMU team for their dedication and professionalism. At the same time, we hope that management will look into the service quality at the B3 ward to ensure consistency across the hospital.
