I flew in from Texas to have cataract surgery done with Dr. Lim while I was here visiting family. I am so impressed with not only Dr. Lim and his knowledge and honest recommendations, but also his staff and the ISEC facilities. Their ambulatory surgery center rivals anything I saw in Houston, Texas. The surgeries were a success, and the cost was 1/4 the price of the cash pay quote I had from those in Texas.

I am Dr. Lim Wei Min, a medical doctor. I was operated on 28 dec. 2020 on my left eye (vitrectomy) for macular hole by Dr. Lim Kian Seng a very expert vitreo-retinal surgeon. He has very steady hands , is calm , gentle and confident, and caused no pain at all. He has good power of concentration during the operation. He was confident enough to perform the operation on me with no sedation which is what I preferred. I was fully awake but felt comfortable. My wounds have all healed well. Strongly recomended for vitreoretinal surgery.

It has been 2 months since my cateract surgery and I still cannot believe that I can see distance super clear, being having my spec power of 1800 and wearing thick glasses since 10 year old , i am now 58 and no longer need glasses, just a mild reading glasses, thats more than okay. A life transforming process that is soooo much better. I am forever grateful to DR Lim Kian Seng for his impeccable surgery skill that only took 2 minutes ( may be 4 at most ) and also thanks to anaesthetist DR Cheah May Hong for her guidance during surgery as i am hearing impaired. ISEC is so well managed, perfect operation process flow and every staff knows their work diligently. Never been to a hospital that is so well organised as ISEC. Thank you so much.

I am a diabetic patient treated by Dr. Lim Kian Seng of ISEC Mid valley KL In the eve of CNY 2022 this year. Uncontrolled foods and drinks with no exercise, my left eye blood vessels bursted 💥, vision crowded with mosquito legs and black shadow. Worried that it may turn blind, I quickly turned to Dr. Lim Kian Seng for treatment. Dr Lim gave me a a retina surgery operation with laser treatment and gas injection on my left eye. The retina recovery was progressing well and fine till my last visit to him. Subsequently I shifted to Johor Bahru for work and business. On a recent visit to Johor Bahru general hospital eye centre, the doctors there told me that may be due to inflammation, my left eye pupil stuck to the len and their diagnosis could not tell how the left eye retina recovery progressed. Even though my left eye vision has improved but I still have blurred vision and fogging images on my left eye. Images not sharp for small letters. All doctors have mentioned that I had eye Cataract that may need another treatment. While in JB thinking that ISEC mid valley and ISEC Johor Bahru May be the same with similar SOP, I turned to a very few retina specialist in JB Dr. Siow Yun Ching for diagnosis and cataract treatment. Dr. Siow mentioned about Phacoemulsification cataract surgery to me. I confirmed to her in writing to proceed with the surgery but surprised to me she called me few days later informed me that she could not do the cataract surgery for me because she has no equipment to separate the pupil and the len for me. Unable to find a good retina specialist in JB, I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Lim 400 miles away. Upon hearing my grievances he took up my case and had a cataract surgery done on my left eye with Monofocal lens installed inside for clearer far distance vision 1 week later. Dr Lim has done a remarkable job and my left eye vision has restored and recovered. His surgical skill is good and you don’t even have to take any pain killer after the surgery. The moral of my story is this, “talk is easy and cheap but the surgical action speak louder than word”. I give Dr Lim a thumbs-up and 5 stars rating for this matter.

A few years back, my dad was told that his vision will no longer be available because of nerve issues. That was with another doctor in another specialist center. Then, we chanced upon Dr. Lim at ISEC MidValley based on a recommendation through a friend. Both my parents completed both their cataract surgeries last week and we are very pleased with the result. Remember the eye tgat had some nerve issues? Dr. Lim did not promise full vision but only about 30%. My dad however thinks he can see about 70%. We will be having a followup check up soon. Thank you Dr Lim and the staff at ISEC.
