I was hospitalised in June and Oct 2023 and March this year for shoulder surgeries at Columbia Asia Setapak, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care I received from the entire hospital staff. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the orthopaedic surgeon Dr. YS Yong, whose dedication and expertise always made me feel confident that I was in the best hands. Am also grateful to the anaesthetists, Dr. Joyce Tien and Dr. Rajes, whose reassuring manner made it less daunting when going through the surgeries, and the professionalism and skill made the waking-up process after each surgery incredibly smooth, for which I am immensely thankful. Would also like to express my sincere thanks to Dr Sindhu for her concerns & comforting words. My apologies for not being a very compliant patient. During my hospital stays, the nursing team provided outstanding care. Their attentiveness and compassion made a significant difference in my recovery. A few names that I could remember were Fairuz, Mani, Nor Izzatul Annis, among others. One of them whose name I could not remember but was very grateful to for helping me with the IV line which became swollen and painful. Her skill and assurance was very much appreciated. A special mention goes to Muhamad Azmin from the catering team. His attentiveness to small details in my dining needs was greatly appreciated, having gone out of his way to ensure that I was able to enjoy my meals. His helpfulness and cheerful demeanor also brightened my days and added a personal touch to the excellent service provided by the catering staff. Above all, I am most grateful to the wonderful physiotherapy team who has always demonstrated professionalism and dedication towards all their patients. My recovery journey started with the lovely cheerful physio Syaza, who first treated me before my surgeries, helping me greatly with the exercises and various therapies for the shoulder. After the surgery, Azie took over my rehab and has been treating me for the past ten months. Azie's commitment to my recovery has been truly exceptional. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I made steady progress, always finding innovative ways to accelerate my recovery, and varying and adjusting her approaches where necessary to ensure that pain and discomfort were minimal, while pushing me to go further. Beyond her technical skills, Azie provided invaluable emotional support. During moments when I felt discouraged and frustrated by the slow pace of my recovery, she offered gentle encouragement and unwavering patience. Her positive attitude and belief in my ability to recover were incredibly motivating and helped me stay committed to my rehabilitation. Thanks again to the best physio team and especially Azie in helping me throughout my recovery journey. I was warded for my liver issues. I was in Ward MD4, Room 95 (A) All the staffs are very nice and accommodating. From the food service, housekeeping, nurses and ofcourse my doctors. Dr Sindhu and Dr Shaza took the time to explain to me, and my questions. The nurses at my ward, although I dont remember their names, are kind, friendly and very helpful. I think it was Noor Shaza but i might be wrong, tak ingat. Even the pharmacist (pakai tudung with mask) today took the time to answer and explain my questions regarding the medicines they prescribed me. She even drew a diagram to make me understand haha. The food served was okay not bad, lots of choices, they will ask you which menu you would like to have. Minum petang pun ada. Thank you all for your service.

Overall: Excellent services: Smooth handling of admission process, cleanliness of room, friendly & helpful nurses and other staff, comprehensive information and explanation by ENT specialist (Dr. Mohd Adzreil Bakri) on patient’s condition (pre & post surgery and recovery process), good room service, less crowded/congested compared to other specialist hospitals (our 1st time here), well-organized specialist hospital, early doc visits (am & pm) and fast room service by the cafe. Hi, I had admited from 14/12/2024-17/12/2024 at ward MD3. I would like to say thank you for Dr. Sindhu and Dr. Adzriel for your good treatment. After for 2 months having a cough and now I'm feeling better. For all nurses who taking care at me during admitted at Ward MD3, you all are the best, very friendly and very helpfull. Thank you for your best services. Thank you very much SN Yasmin, SN Izan, SN Farah, SN Rugia, SN Suzi and intern staff from MAHSA. I had problem to give my sample sputum during the treatment. I would like to say thank you also for physio team which is Syaza, Azie, Ruby and Ana. Helping me for physio session. This is my second time I had meet with physio team. 1st time it was last 2 years ago during my treatment for knee surgery. They are still remember me even after 2 years (maybe because i'm the only patient always crying). Not too late also to give compliment to all of you. I've being warded here due to Influenza B and the doctor here (Dr. Sindhu) treats me very well. I don't have any voice during my visit due to cough but she hear me carefully so that she did not wrongly diagnosed me. Special thanks to the nurses (SN Gunah, SN Atiqah, SN Suzi, SN Yasmin, SN Izan & PCA Syafawani) for taking care of me and always being friendly to me. They assisted me in so many things and they done a wonderful duty despite of being exposed to various disease and virus from patients. My respect is with them for being a brave frontliners. The food and beverages also great. The hospital serve the food 4 times daily including breakfast, lunch, tea time & dinner. Dinner i think is somehow special as they allow patients to choose what food we want them to serve based on the menu given. This hospital is a panel hospital to various health insurance as well. You may choose which is the best for your condition, the staff at the registration counter will guide you on the form and what document to provide during the registration process.
