My mom was admitted to Pantai Hospital Ampang via A&E on 8 June 2026 based on the acceptance by Dr Teoh Sze Kye, a specialist in Internal and Respiratory Medicine. We are truly grateful to Dr Teoh for his keenness in diagnosing my mom and administering the best possible treatment for her. At the age of 86 with her AF condition, 4 specialists with the authority to admit my mom didn't want to accept her based on her risk assessment for having sepsis and also because we were cash paying clients. But doctor Aman at the A&E didn't give up and he asked Dr Teoh, and Dr Teoh accepted my mom as his patient. Syukur Alhamdulillah. From our first meeting with Dr Teoh that late night on 8 June, until her discharge on 20 June, Dr Teoh and the nurses at the ICU and Ward A3 as well as the physio therapists, gave the best care for my mom while she was there. There were some ups and downs and some panic moments for me while accompanying my mom in the ward, but Dr Teoh and the staff always came through competently to get my mom well and calm again. When my mom first arrived at Pantai Ampang's A&E, she was so weak she couldn't even lift her own body to sit upright and continually suffered delirium, she now can walk to and manage herself in the bathroom at home and she is now enjoying her food again as she used to before she fell ill. Our heartfelt gratitude to the kind souls who helped and cared for my mom, namely Dr Teoh Sze, Dr Aman at A&E, ALL the nurses and staff at the A&E, ICU and Ward A3, the physio therapists and even the security who always very kindly wished me good morning when I did my morning walk around the parking lot the entire time I was there accompanying my mom, may God bless you all and your loved ones always, aamiin. ❤️ from Makcik Maheran Yaacub and our whole family!

I am truly grateful to have Dr Teoh Sze Kye attending to my health issue recently. I am a healthy person but suddenly had pneumonia with breathing distress. First time to private hospital too. When my insurance GL declined, we had chat on the phone to proceed scheduled admission for diagnosis and treatment, then wait for the next course of action. He was a concerned doctor. Both side government and private clinical practiced doctor. He is indeed helpful in his advice. Down to earth person, sharing his expertise and such a gentle man.
