I underwent nasal surgery with Dr. Elang Kumaran, an ENT specialist, to widen my airway after years of severe allergies that left me constantly struggling to breathe. The surgery took place in November 2025, followed by exceptional post-operative care and regular follow-ups. Before making the decision, I was met with countless warnings—stories of chronic nosebleeds and discouraging advice that almost led me to abandon the procedure entirely. I thank God that I ultimately chose to move forward with the surgery under Dr. Elang’s care. He never stopped advising, reassuring, and encouraging me throughout the process. Today, I can breathe freely without consciously forcing each breath. Immediately after the operation, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief in my chest, though my muscles were sore from years of overcompensating for restricted breathing. As time passed, my body began to heal in ways I never expected. My skin started to glow, the chronic pain in my shoulders and neck disappeared, my digestion improved, and I now sleep more deeply with far less tossing and waking at night. Most surprisingly, even the stiffness in my ankles has eased.

I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Elang. He is a great surgeon and made me feel comfortable both before and after my operation. I am very pleased with the results of the surgery. I also want to thank his assistant for all the help during my clinic visits. They were very kind and made every appointment easy for me. I really appreciate the care from both of them.

Across the board, they are the perfect balance of professional and friendly. I am particularly grateful to Dr. Gan, Dr. Muhilan, and Dr. Danial Soma, who were incredibly attentive and often addressed my concerns via text even outside of their regular working hours. My most recent experience with Dr. Elang (ENT) further confirms why I keep returning to Thomson Hospital. I just finished my final appointment with him and couldn't be happier. He is incredibly friendly and always took the time to answer my questions clearly. What stood out most was the post-op care; when I had concerns a few days after my surgery, Dr. Elang and his nurse, Amira, responded to my messages quickly and put my mind at ease.
