When I was rushed to your emergency room following a heart attack, my situation was critical, a "50/50" chance of survival. From the moment I arrived, I was met by a team that was already prepared and waiting for me. I will never forget the decisiveness of Dr. Lam, who looked at the situation and said, "Let’s do it now." In that moment, I placed my life in the hands of Allah and the expertise of this remarkable medical team. I am truly in awe of your speed and precision. To perform such a critical operation in just 45 minutes, removing the blockage and installing two stents while I was still awake, is nothing short of heroic. When Dr. Lam told me the operation was successful and the danger had passed, I couldn't hold back my tears. You gave me a second chance at life. The care and warmth that my 80+ year old father received when he was admitted to the hospital in late February were amazing. The doctors provided me with updates and explanations regularly. They were understanding and flexible with my schedule. This was critical as it enabled me to make informed and prompt decisions for my father. They ordered only the necessary tests, mindful of the stress it might put the patient through and balancing that with the medical costs. The doctors collaborated closely. They were always aware of what the other doctors had been doing for my father. I could tell they frequently discussed my father amongst themselves. Dr Shamala Rajalingam, Dr Lam Kai Huat, Dr Chong Chee Seang, Dr Leong Chee Loon and Dr Thye Yuen Lin – Thank you! I'd also like to mention the team in Melor Ward. All the nurses that I spoke to seem to know my father's case by memory. They were able to answer most, if not all, of my questions. The handover between shifts was seamless. The nurses took good care of my father. The grooming was complete and regular. They even took care of his skin dryness with topical applications. They also helped lift my father's mood. They talked and joked with him. My father laughed quite a bit during his stay. The team in the Melor Ward was fantastic! Finally, I'd also like to mention the physio team. They demonstrated good judgment on the types of activities that would improve my father's condition. Activities included those that help his strength, as well as his mental alertness.

Excellent cardiology services in Assunta Hospital. They literally saved my mother’s life. Thanks to the excellent and rapid emergency cardiology services available here even on a public holiday, my mother is back home safely, due to the outstanding care she received. A big thank you to the consultants that cared for my mother especially Dr Satvinder Singh, Dr Lam Kai Huat, Dr Tan Hee Wu and Dr Sim Lin Kiat. Special thanks to the emergency cardiac team, the nurses in CCU, Melati ward as well as the physiotherapists and definitely not forgetting Mr Raj the excellent cardiac tech from the cardiology unit who constantly kept my mother reassured during her emergency procedure. Dr. Lam Kai Hua is the best. my husband YF Leong has been seeing him since 2017 , Dr.Lam diagnose his AF since than my hubby has not much Palpitation and his BP, Sugar and cholesterol is all under control within the desired limit. And the staff of the cardiology unit are absolutely fabulous, they are always friendly and helpful we always feel at home with them while my hubby goes for his check-up.
